I have a theory that each member has their own aura of power or dominance. what we think is like their stage presence is actually their true power that they no longer mask or reel in that they let free on each n every individual. Take an example of their debut performances at different award shows (especially in America) they captivated everyone present there not one was left who was not interested. They are like their own rare kind you know what I mean , it's like their power n dominance , their very impact grows or increases with every person that starts stanning them n it's not just all take we receive too , we grow as humans too in confidence, empathy, morals , life in genuine. I honestly don't know how many humans or army's are out there who have survived n lived another day bcuz of them , bcuz of BTS . I myself am alive today cuz of them or I would hv been most likely dead 6 yrs ago. I hope that their impact on the music industry , on this world stays n is remembered forever . Love to all my fellow army's out here💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

i liked when you guys said that this is the ultimate expression of their own selves because first of all, i strongly agree, but also because i remembered that namjoon explained in a vlive that in the chorus of this song he sings "tear" (as in crying), yoongi "tear" (as in "split", something being ripped) and hoseok "fear", which represents how they felt during the times in which bts were thinking of disbanding ... it's very profound and personal

RM generally does album reviewing vlive when an album drops, he said his verse is about tear, Suga's verse is about tearing apart and Jhope's verse is about fear in his LY:Tear album reviewing vlive. And the fact that Suga said in Break The Silence docuseries when he was working on outro:tear (in early 2018 i think) they were thinking about disbandment and he wrote the melody and lyrics of this song for members, when he played the song to the members they all cried. That's probably why he talks about "tearing apart" in his verse and we learned it 2 years after song' release 🥲 RM didn't mention it when he was doing that vlive in 2018, we were thinking the song was an emo breakup song but it was more than that 😭

One of the amazing things about this song live at the concerts was that it was outro tear, mic drop and then their break before the encore, so it would be a good 2 hours or more into an exhausting concert! And yet they would manage to always bring so much passion to the performance, and execute it so well! The first time I heard it live (at O2 in London ☺) I almost thought they had sped it up! Like I knew the lyrics were fast from the studio version - the number of times I had to pause it to be able to catch the lyrics told me that 😂 but to hear it live, with all the passion, emotion, energy and emphasis they bring to it, somehow makes it feel like it is even faster when performed live Like it suddenly registered how impossible I would find it to make audible syllables at that speed, let alone form actual sentences and lyrics that have so much depth and pain and meaning to them! I loved seeing your reaction to this! I always enjoy hearing your thoughts and perspectives on their songs and performances! 💜

I never considered myself a rap fan before BTS. I believe it was the subject matter of most rap songs that really put me off bcoz all the bragging about money, chicks and drugs etc really felt crass and objectifying to me. The thing is, music can sound good regardless of the lyrics, but if it's vulgar or nonsensical and I'm aware of it, it really affects my interest. The only rap I enjoyed was from Linkin Park because they made meaningful music. Now I'm absolutely in love with all the different kinds of music BTS puts out, be it vocal or rap heavy, soft or hard, because at the core is the lyricism that I love so much and their incomparable delivery and flow. They made me discover the lure of rap. So more than anything, I think it might be the lyricism and depth in their music that makes even people who weren't into rap, completely in love with it. It also certainly helps that all 7 of them are so talented, they can be arranged into infinite beautiful possibilities. You discover something new even years after listening to the same song, an some piece of a new song will unveil a new perspective on an old one because of their intertextual references across their discography. It makes their music such a treasure to dive into.

Please react to RM's full mono mixtape. You will be able to see a very different style of Rm's music and it is personally my favorite solo mixtape from BTS till now. That album is a pure lyrical and musical genius. I think you will love it too!!!
