A Long Forgotten Road In Big South Fork

Today Jimmy Staffey and I explored a forgotten road known as the Ike Kidd Road. It parallels the Guy Kidd Road and is easy to overlook. We found a possible grave, remnants of an old farm as well as an interesting stone structure under a small rock house.

I used to go to Big South Fork when I lived in Knoxville It's been a long time since I've been there My dog saw a big flock of wild turkeys and jumped out the window It took me an hour to get him back

Check out usgs.gov. They have a historical section. I think the map I looked at was 1960.
