Watched this on the tv initially and forgot to comment! Great to see a mini tour of selections of the collection…I was going to put if that SF arcade 1up cab was to go then I would buy it off ya but, I agree it would be an awesome addition to the retro realm 😍 A lovely mix of pickups, cool to see some cheeky Sega master system and that Eliminate Down set is a thing of beauty. Looking forward to seeing the changes to the ZombiePad….would make some interesting content seeing the hows and whys and the planning. Nice one Scott (Rodgy) 👍

Great video buddy My favourite port of California games Is on the Megadrive. Love the surfing & BMX but recently been enjoying the technical challenge of the hacky sack. Still to this day I can’t do the half pipe on any port.

Nice to see you back mate and yeah, I hear you about the ol' YT mojo. For me, the bread and butter of the community will always be people showing games they've bought because they want them, the stories of what they mean to them and what they think of them etc. I suppose that's where channels like ours come into play by keeping that old school community spirit going. Not sure I've ever played Speedball on the Master System so I'll have to check it out. Nice grab with Eliminate Down as well, I almost preordered that but didn't in the end. It's probably twice the price now on ebay haha

I couldn't agree more, the bread and butter of the YT community will always be pick ups and people's journeys through gaming and collecting. Alot of the issues I suppose is down to KZbin and putting videos I have absolutely no interest in constantly in my feed as suggestions these CEX videos seem to smoother the scene Mate I completely forgot I pre ordered Eliminate Down, it was so long ago the order hahaha

Some great pick ups there! I must admit I prefer Speedball 2 on SMS, think I'm probably biased though as we always used to play it multiplayer at the sega8bit meet up events so I have lots of fond memories of it!

Nice update mate. Some lovely pickups for the Mega Drive - will it ever end!!! Fav Cali Games has to be the Amiga for me, it played amazing across all of the events. Speedball 2 on Master System is really playable, but the sound lets it down compared to other platforms. Again Amiga was where I first played any speedball game. Loving the VHS pile, seems to be a bit of VHS buzz going on at the moment, I've been sorting through some of mine and getting them on the shelf rather than in the loft.

Spot on about all these cex videos, i couldn't care less, like you said, if you've seen one youve seen them all, all shops are the same. Dont know how they find the motivation to go and keep walking around them all That big blue sf cab is a bargain at £200, that was a great deal, i missed that. People knock 1ups but if you buy them on sale they are brilliant fir the money👍

At the end of the day KZbin is about you and if you want to create content about CEX then who am I to judge, all that concerns me is that it's a trend that has spiraled and the whole UK KZbin scene is saturated with these style of videos and I I know there is more to this hobby than CEX and flipping games to make money

I always try and take note of your movie pickups, you're the man for unknown movie recommends. Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo, oh wow I used to love that game on playstation1, forgot all about that one! Might be looking that up(the PS1 game I mean) unless it's one of those crazy price ones. I completely hear you about the CEX focused content, not my cuppa at all mate if I'm honest. Thankfully there's still plenty of great content being put out, my subscription feed is on point lately. Yeah good old Kev accessarea6 is great! I know exactly what you mean about all the CEX videos. To be fair it was them that first got me into watching stuff on KZbin, but they do get dull and repetitive very quickly, especially when they're just buying stuff to flip. Boredom with that is why i thought I'd give making my own videos a go (thanks for the subscribe) I didn't know about Speedball, but one game that plays better on 8 bit than 16 in my view is Super Off Road, probably my favorite racing game of all time. When you say the Realm, is that Retro Realm in Ipswich?

I know there are plenty of great passionate hobbyist content creators out there you included mate but when the scene is saturated with all these copycat click bait videos it's hard to ignore how the KZbin UK scene is turning, I just want the passion for gaming and collecting to return with people sharing memories and nostalgia I don't care at all for a game picked up from a charity shop or car boot and then flipped in to CEX this hobby is about way more than that

Brilliant video as always. Wow has been a while I couldn't click fast enough heha. I seen many great videos there are plenty out there everyone that do great videos. I been playing alot of mega drive games on my channel 😊 going to do more on mega drive my favourite console. Definitely will do a mega drive gaming day. There's so many CEX videos but sadly some people only have CEX near them and no retro game shops nothing is down my way so many CEX shops but I'm not gonna do CEX videos it's boring. I do have a little mobile fix shop that has really good retro I done a video there. Yeah CEX videos selling stuff in there to get retro and xbox videos does seem to be very popular at the mo but not for me either Phelios is brilliant game I need to play that one again. Amazing pickups so much good stuff wow nice to see sega and atari. 😊

The rush of nostalgia i just had seeing that tomytronic was unbelievable Scott buddy 😮👊 my mate had 3 of them, racing, shark attack and another one. I used to play the hell out of them at his house. Its mad with california games, as a kid I loved surfing, bmx and the half pipe but hated the flying disc.... now for some reason I love the flying disc 😂 way too many people on KZbin only interested in sub numbers and money bud. Give me a person talking about a master system cheap game and explaining their history with it then a big channel that is cex this, cex that

I enjoyed CEX unboxing videos before they started differentiating manual / without manual, but now it’s just a bit boring as you know what you’ve ordered. Can say the thought of watching a CEX shop tour has never interested me, pretty strange thing to film, just a generic shop on the high street. I totally agree with you. I am fed up of seeing CEX videos and they are of no interest to me especially as I know they are out to fleece the true collector with their inflated resale prices. I recently picked up some old Your Sinclair magazines off eBay and it was refreshing reading the reviews and the passion that came across from the reviewers I often sometimes look up old episodes of Gamesmaster on you tube to scratch that retro itch of appreciating the games and not how much their worth and their resale value. Let’s appreciate the games as they were meant to be fun, escapism and just pure enjoyment
