Thanks for your video. Some small bits of information may be of use , could have done with going through some common known issues with the 900 such as rust on arches, wheel wells, turbo failure and over heating and water pump issues, mpg, tax and insurance status etc. Good luck and keep going with your great chanel, I look forward to seeing it improve over time 🖐

Two things the rainman i me noticed: the interior light switch is upside down and the radio is in an odd place. It’s supposed to be where the three gauges are.
@MorselsAndMotors11 ай бұрын
Yes, I actually did comment on the radio, but cut it out in the edit as I thought I was being a bit too harsh! Having it up high is much more ergonomic and safer
@xluumu4 ай бұрын
The upper position is the standard location for the radio. The gauge cluster that is there in this car is an original accessory. If you have the gauges, you have to decide between them and the radio, which one to put in the upper position and which one in the lower.

I know looks are subjective but I never ever understood the attraction to this particular vehicle at all! I owned a 97' 9000 CSE turbo 5speed & loved every minute of it! That car looked very poised,executive & stately compared to the 900s odd kinda duffy & disproportioned design. Definitely the true definition of quirky!

The rear wiper looks like it has been glued on because it was a rarely ordered extra and is not actually needed, the rear window of the Combi Coupe does not get very dirty.

Tough call SPG vs. Viggen. I had an SPG and like 10 other C900, a 9KT, a 9-3 SE Convertible and now the Viggen and a BMW 535is. At night, just looking down the road it is amazing how similar the Viggen feels to a C900 actually. But yeah I need another C900T.

Silver trim around the dash is the giveaway that this is a pre-1990 model or right on the change over as it was deleted after that year. It would appear leather for the seats was an option in the UK. The seat adjustment mechanism is the late model system but post 1990 seats were electric on Turbo models, unless it was another option in the UK & standard on export models in other markets. I have a '91 Turbo convertible and it has all those options, electric seats, no silver trim on the dash & leather seats plus aircon. No aircon in this car either, another UK option. Yes, they are narrow. I had a friend almost rubbing shoulders with me. Thankfully from the 9000 onwards there was more room.

@TheBTG8811 ай бұрын
The whale tail was a dealer option. The standard rubber tail is significantly smaller. Separately, those three circular gauges are placed in the non-standard location that normally would hold the radio. These optional gauges are normally placed lower in the central console.

Favorite car. Wish I had one as a second car. I have a Volvo V50 and love the 5 cylinder engine and the calm quiet ride. Is there a lot of road noise with the Saab? My cousin had one and it was so loud on the highway you couldn't talk there was so much road and wind noise. My one concern. Might have been his car, not sure. I see you didn't really ride on the highway or with a passenger, but it seems quiet here.
