I hadn't realized the castle had been painted, so when I first started watching your video, I said, "Wait! That's not the Cinderella Castle!" I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. At any rate, I like the video, particularly the look at the mosaic murals. Thank you for taking me (virtually) to the Magic Kingdom!

Thank you for the water view. As a child (age 9) I remembered seeing the 🏰 castle at the beginning of all the movies. I knew it was supposed to have water in front of it ...so when I grandmother took me to Disneyworld ...i cried because I didn't get to see the REAL Castle lol 🙃 😭 😅 ...isn't it strange the things we remember?

If you want to find out where they got the idea for this castle, you would have to see Neuschwanstein Castle in Hohenschwangau, northern Germany. Its history is fascinating and what's crazy is it cost so much to build that the prince ran out of funds and it is only half completed!

Ik the first floor of the castle is open to the public. It’s basically a bridge to one of the other sections of the park but how many floors are there of the castle and which floors are open to the public? Ik the top floor has the Walt Disney World castle suite which is closed to the public but what is accessible besides the first floor/walk way?

God, thank you for that, I totally agree. I absolutely LOVE Disney World and all things Disney but this is BUTT ugly! The colors are so horrible, wayyy too pink, far too much gold trim and that hue of blue makes it even more nauseating. The old Cinderella’s Castle was so beautiful and I was always so excited to see it. I’m going to be so bummed when I go back and end up seeing the castle like this… It just looks so fake now. It’s no longer magical like it once was.

When I was a little girl you used to be able to walk through Cinderella's castle and it was the gateway to Fantasyland but now they have a blocked off cuz that's where they do a lot of shows and that's where the characters come in and out and it's a shame because the mosaics inside some people have never seen so I think they need to find a better way of getting the characters in and out then through the castle because the castle is one of the prettiest things in Disney world

Ya know what’s odd…where’s the staircase Cinderella famously ran down and lost her glass slipper on? You’d think the imagineers would’ve “imagined” that’d be a fixture of the *cinderella* castle. What a missed photo taking and monetizing opportunity.

No it’s not. Sleeping Beauty castle is the one at Disneyland in California. It is Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Florida

Question 🙋‍♀️ Is this new style and paint job on the castle permanent or is going to be like the year 2000 where they put some special things up to celebrate but then got rid of them later?? Please please PLEASE tell me it’s only going for a while in celebration of WDW and Cinderella’s anniversary, then they will go back to the classic and beautiful Cinderella’s Castle…. This simply isn’t the Cinderella’s Castle so many have come to know and love, such as myself. I’ve been to Disney World a number of times and seeing it this way just makes me sad, especially the 7 year old girl inside me seeing it for the first time, it was such a special moment for me. 😢
