Fantastic tours Adam. And so a very big thanks from my wife and I. PS not often we hear our Black Country accent!

Haha, thanks. That's very kind. Before I started making the videos I was unsure if people would understand my accent, but it turns out that most somehow do (I think). Hopefully the ones who don't just enjoy looking at the places. Got to spread the Black Country accent far and wide (although I do try to poshen it up a little bit I think sub-consciously)! Many thanks for your nice comment, Adam :)

Hello Adam. Really beautiful Country Home. Too bad u weren’t allowed to film inside. But there was still plenty for our eyes to enjoy 😉. I had quite the laugh when u were showing the grounds around St. John the Baptist Church & u showed the Cricket Pitch & as u panned over, u said that there was a pavilion w/ some beer kegs if anyone thirsty. I’m guessing that’s for the Cricket Pitch but w/ the church right there, my mind went straight to an announcement made @ end of church svc saying, “There will be beer @ the pavilion after service today.” 😳🤣 Oh my word! Haha 🤣 Sorry, just had to share that w/ u. Oh yeah, the gravestones that lined the path was certainly different. I’d never seen that before. Beautiful flowers & fauna. And u were correct, the darker pink flowers were Rhododendrons as were the lighter pink. But the very last “bush” of pink flowers that weren’t so compact together were Azalea according to Google Lens. Even though we didn’t get to see the inside of Hagley Hall, I could see the grand beauty on the outside which reflects what’s likely inside 😉! I really loved the main entrance grand stairs on either side, meeting on the next level w/ a large lofted area to be able to see the grandeur of the land! Thank u again, Adam, for brining us along as u explored yet another wonderful Country Home & its gardens! I appreciate u very much. 😉. Take care.

Thanks again for your lovely comments Tina, you're so very kind. Thanks for identifying the Azalea too. Yeah, the house was actually very grand and beautuful inside and there was quite a bit of interesting history in there too, so it was indeed a shame that I couldn't share that with you all. The family do still live there though so I can understand why they want it kept private in there. As usual, it's a pleasure to make these videos and it's lovely to get feedback like yours. The gravestones were very interesting. Take care, Adam :)

Not long before I recorded this video, I also explored the fascinating historic gardens/grounds of Hagley Hall (Hagley park) in a separate video. If you're interested in the history of country house gardens you should find it interesting (that's sort of a promise). You can see it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpDXkGd7mLd0q6c
