Oh no, thank YOU so much for posting i will ALWAYS go back to the Sandos, alot of people choose the Other busier ones near the strip, lots of drinking and noise lol i'd much rather this family hotel it's quite, out the way AND if i wanted to sit by myself by the sea etc.. i can do with no disturbance❤

I’ve been to this hotel 3 times now, going again in January 2023. The food is incredible, with the choice just off the charts, how do they get such great displays, amount, quality and variety of food in place at every sitting within the main restaurants? Marina Rubicon is around a 25 - 30 minute walk and is a great place for restaurants, bars and shops. There are also bars, restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Thanks for making and posting the video.

We booked last minute to stay at this hotel and were delighted to get an upgrade to a luxury suite. When we opened the door we were amazed at its size, jacuzzi in a very big bathroom, 2 bedrooms and loads of wardrobe space. Everything and everybody who worked there were fantastic. The food was 1st class, Italian and asian restaurants were great. The 3 outer pools were freezing cold at first but refreshing. Highly recommended

Hi Wayne I don't think they will ruin things really they bring with them opportunity however opportunity for who? They dont have enough peoples visiting the islands or staff so it all seems a little strange but we can only wait and see

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon as it is my wife's favourite destination (been 3 times previously) - i was very impressed as soon as we arrived as always wanted to come to Lanzarote. We paid the extra for Elite and weren't disappointed, food, drinks, staff all excellent. Massage on site definitely recommended. There are about 5 Papagayo beaches and the last one with the white building at the top of the hill is where they filmed Dr Who's Planet of Fire 40 years ago. Still recognisable but with some erosion which you would expect. We will be coming back here every January from now on for our anniversary as it is that good and to re-do our jointed hearts on the beach below the hotel. You wont be disappointed. also to note there is a free bus from the hotel in to near the marina which saves your legs but the walk back is gorgeous

@@MrTravelONWorld sorry the week flew by. The weather was mixed, the staff, rooms & balconies were fabulous. Food was plentiful but not always hot enough and a little bland if being honest, but enjoyed plenty and wine was flowing (Royal Elite) the wine in the main dining room 👎🏼. Lovely atmosphere. Great Cava on arrival, coffee machine, soft drinks all included in rooms and coffee pods replaced daily. No bad smells in Block A.

I'd love to have a nose at the new MYND Yaiza, which I believe only recently became a 'new' hotel and was originally either going to be accommodation for Barcelo staff, and/or being sold off as private apartments. It's the former Sun Park and is due to open soon.

I thought this hotel had contravened some building regulation and the reception area was where the Lanzorote government wanted to continue with a road towards Papagio. Did they manage to get round building without planning permission, or did the government change their mind. Or was it a big fat rumour.?

Been here once, heres what i found. Ther Royal elite status entitles you to a better class of room. Within that i found the air conditioning very poor, and almost not working. The Royal elite lounges are nothing spectacular in terms of furnishings, and the quality of the drinks is almost exactly the same as the lower class package, with supposedly 'branded' spirits, tasting like theyve been made from a kit. They have one type of white wine which is supposedly Rioja ? I would debate that as well, wine has no character or body, and nowhere is it possible to get a glass of Sauvignon, or Chardonnay, even if you had to buy it. The food i sometimes found to be superior in the lower class, than the Royal elite class. Would i go again ? I very much doubt it. I found the catering to be diabolically poor.
