Nice update on your tolumnias Tolumnias are some of my favorite orchids among with Zygos and miltoniopsis. The Zelemnia midas is so cool. Thanks for sharing your collection.

They are very nice plants with very nice blooms! Sadly they do not like the semi hydro so much in my greenhouse LOL.. but still very easy to grow. Thank you! :D

It is! And a bit different than the others, most of them or the Tolumnia Jairak ... something. The shape of the blooms are very similar on those...

I really enjoyed seeing this video and learning more about tolumnia orchids. I have a few of these. They bloom here and there but not doing as well as I would like so I will have to try a new set up similar to yours.😊

I am glad I could help a bit! I hope the new setup will work even better! I really like the easy setups LOL not too much messing around if not necessary :P... Thanks for watching and good luck!

Thank you for this very thorough video! My little tolumnia is in semi hydro, but I may move it to a setup like yours. I love that you still use inorganic media. I really appreciate all the great tips. I just noticed mine has a spike!

I love inorganic media (pumice), because you can use it as a more regular media but also as a more wet media. And if you want you can grow your orchids more damp in summer and more dry in winter etc. In all cases the media will not go bad! :D I love it! LOL... And I am happy I could help, I hope it will work for you and your plants too!... O and so nice to 'find' spikes, it always makes me smile when I find a new spike or growth on a plant. Which Tolumnia do you have?
