You are so welcome Cindy! Really glad to be able to introduce you to this lovely little family business! The sample pack is the perfect size for someone who makes soap as a hobby or for pleasure rather than as a business!

I watched your video this morning, many thanks for the hints, information and demo of clays in soaps. I've tried the red clay and put too much in. The result was hideous. Now I'm going to give it another go. So many thanks for the education on clays. It was invaluable. 😍 😍

I've been making a shampoo bar with clay. I don't know if you watch other soaper's video's but Soap and Clay has some great recipe's and she puts clay in ALL her products. Clay is really SO great! I pretty much go to your KZbin video's and Soap and Clay for my info. Thanks so much for this! I'm going to have to check out FoundInBio.

You are very welcome. I agree, I will always choose a small business over a big corporation if possible!

Do you recommend mixing the clays in with the oils before you add the lye solution? I’m guessing that would mean you would be able to incorporate them a little better before you need to worry about your trace getting too thick? Thanks 😊

Do you typically wrap to support gel stage with the individual bar molds? Like typically with loafs?

Thank you for sharing, love the different clays for natural colourants. Does the various amount of clay affect the lather in soap and is there a maximum amount you can use in clay? I will do some testing, but want a good starting point 😀. Love the way the red clay matched your hair 😍

Love the video... i have used som of them befor. I wondered how you should blend them if you cant use a stickblender ( the blade is of metal)?
@TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hello Anette. I have never even thought of that before! I am always so careful to avoid using metal spoons or utensils, the blade of the stick blender never even crossed my mind - you have caught me out with this question! Honestly, we have been stick blending but if you wanted to avoid that then you could mix the soap by hand, though that would take a lot longer!

Which, would be your favorite for a facial soap?
@TheSussexHandmadeSoapCompany3 жыл бұрын
It is so hard to choose! For me personally, I would go with either Dead Sea or Green clay as I have quite oily skin. If you have drier or more mature skin then Pink clay would be the way to go!
