A Look at LittleBigPlanet's Music

2018 marks LittleBigPlanet’s 10th birthday, so to celebrate I made a video analyzing one of my favorite parts of it: the music. We’ll go over the story mode’s level locations and talk about the music that plays in each one. Maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two!
Most of the assets in this video are owned by Sony Corporation. This video features my own arrangements of (and a few direct clips from) music composed by the following artists:

@@UCgx7OseCrundqkE8oEVeobg someone or multiple people hacked the vulnerable servers for the ps3 and psvita littlebigplanet games and initiated a DDOS attack which they were able to do because the server security was outdated. Instead of upgrading server security, Sony chose to permanently shut down the servers, because the cost of improving server security was more than the benefits because they wouldn't make much more money off of the older games. In terms of the political point you made, my pfp still has a Ukrainian flag background partially because Putin still has the world in his twisted little checkmate and he's still trying to invade Ukraine, and partially because I don't know what I should change the background to or particularly care to try figuring out something else right now.

I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that this game was by far one of the most memorable games you could ever play. Not just the story, but the feel and vibe of the music makes you feel so strange and lightweight, but also gives you feelings of peace and nostalgia. This game taught me so much, I remember when I would play it all the time and would always get so mad and end up rage quitting, only to come back 5 minutes later and try again. The 2nd game was by far my favorite, I just really loved the characters. My favorite level was "the factory of a better tomorrow" I think it was called, and I remember every time I saw the negativatron I would be so confused on if I should feel bad or hate them. I would do anything to play it again. I even got the psp version and I would sneak it to school n just play the whole time at recess. My 11 year old cousin has the 3rd game, and I play with her as much as I can. We are on the last level and its so hard lol, I'm surprised the games are even made for kids they are so hard. I just realized I was rambling the whole time, I wanted this comment to be short so people would actually read it. I'm sorry lol

I love the Editing style too, as someone who also edits videos. But i think the reason why these types of videos don't get that much attention, is because they are being overshadowed by videos about trendy topics. This video deserves to be so much more popular, it was really well made! I really enjoyed watching this and it gave me some great nostalgia. LBP2 was the first game I ever got when I got a PS3 in 2011, I used to play it all the time. It unfortunately died and I lost interest in it but I will never forget it. I have all games apart from the PSP version. I wasn't really fond of LBP3, Sumo killed the franchise, but it was partially Sony's fault for wanting to release the game early for black friday. It was full of glitches and bugs, some game breaking. I really do hope things get better for LBP, but it doesn't look very promising now.

My daughter's been playing LBP since she was about 5 so our family is well acquainted with its magic. I love the music too. My favorite piece is Cries in the Wind! This video is so brilliant it should contribute to keeping LBP alive and well for a lot longer. I wish or I can imagine....forever!

As someone who has played every LBP game (except for the PS Vita releases), I enjoyed this breakdown. I am still amazed at the timing of the original's release, since it was in development at the same time that Minecraft was near it's public release. LBP is really a more geometric, complicated version of Minecraft that had the same focus on player imagination, while still following the classic videogame formula of a set story.
