The pod glitch. Those terrifying memories. I got way too into pod glitching my house in LBP to the point where my pod broke. I couldn't even spawn in, the spawner was blocked by an item. I read online that the only way to fix this would be to delete my data. I didn't have the heart so I just didn't play anymore. Now and again I would turn it on, threatening to delete it before just giving it up again. Then one day, months later. I spawned in. I didn't touch the ground, I couldn't be seen on screen, but I could use my cursor to select a new pod with no items. It was a miracle, as if the pod had slightly moved itself so I could be free. After that, I deleted all of my glitched pod rooms LMAOOOOO

I was already saddened that the servers shut down since I picked up the game again a few months prior, but having heard that LBPK was _supposed_ to be a MNR sequel? That left me gutted, considering I think LBPK was a total flop. Call me pessimistic but I don't think we'll get another karting game quite as good as that ever again.

This reminds me. I remember seeing a level. When I checked its reviews, I notice a member of Mm commented on it saying something along the lines that it was complete shit. Needless to say I was a bit shocked as a child lol (i don't remember his name, but I know he was bald/shaved) Shit, I also remember this one time a girl pulled out a Sackbot with a controllinator (completely forgot what its called) on it's chest. Which was if I,m not mistaken is an old model of the sackbot. It was crazy to me.

This honestly is one of the most impressive videos I've ever seen about LBP. There is a lot of stuff I saw for which I went like 'Yes! I remember that!' but I'm so surprised to see there's so much more to dig out of LBP franchise as a whole. But no doubt there is still a lot of stuff that is hidden throughout the games and other stuff like merch etc. Things that I personally know of that are considered secrets/rumors: - The back of the match box object is actually rendered and has a texture despite the common fact that objects and materials pretty much don't have their back side rendered at all simply due to a fact that we don't see the game from the background angle nor we physically can gen the game to show what's behind of the sackboy thus having any polygons rendered behind what can be normally seen is useless and would only make the game perform worse. However as many camera glitches there are and are doable, the 3D camera glitch actually gets really close to being able to see what's behind the objects. Unfortunately the camera behavior is so hard-coded that it's virtually impossible to break through the said angle. Based on my experience sometimes if you try to hard the game will just simply crash. The secret was discovered though by GlitchMaster7 (I think) by using a camera glitch that existed back in LBP2 beta which actually allowed you to freely move and turn around camera, even in the back which you definitely you weren't supposed to. The backside texture of the match box has a text written all over it, though unfortunately due to texture being in low resolution it's impossible to read what it says. - Another thing about the back of the textures comes down to LBP Karting as it does allow you to see the back of the well known objects from the main series thanks to nature of a game being in full 3D environment. That's where you can actually see the texture of a match box which was reused in that game. Also kind of a fun fact but there's a ton of objects such as a cereal box (or was it a milk box? I don't recall...) which we could only speculate how they'd look like from behind and there wasn't any textures behind the models in the main series so we wouldn't have never figured until LBP Karting came out. There's ton of easter eggs with those reused models. Pretty sure most of them had their texture properly done from scratch by UFG studio just to make the model fully complete for the purpose of a 3D game. - There is a fact I stated personally after LBP3 got teased by Sumo Digital and it's that LBP3 was being made by the same developers who made the Cross-Controller level pack for LBP2 and coincidentally the patch that brought the level pack alongside also brought a really weird bug which gathered a global confusion and hate and that was online players were not able to turn their heads to the side at all. What's weird is that only the host of the party was actually able to turn their heads around just fine but the others had to struggle if they wanted to play online with friends. What's even more strange is that this bug only occured if you only played the game using Dualshock. If you plug in the Move Controller and choose to use it for your account, the head movement would actually work properly. The only caveat was, you had to tilt your move controller to actually move the Sackboy's head. And what about that fact specifically? Well I feared LBP3 might have been released as broken simply because I assumed Media Molecule assigned kind of unexperienced developers to develop a new sequel to LittleBigPlanet since Mm themselves announced that they've stopped working on LittleBigPlanet and handed the job over to Sony. And it turned out, I was quite right about this lol. The game came out buggy as hell. - There also was a game breaking glitch with the Wormholes (part of the Cross-Controller dlc) which was discovered by FattyMcintosh (I think), basically through some serious glitching the Wormholes actually would have glitched sackboy in a way that he's unable to spawn back into the world. And no, I'm not talking about the very easy thing to do which is connecting the wormhole to the other one which was not tweaked to be an exit which gets the Sackboy trapped, because there is way to bring back Sackboy in this scenario by simply pressing down on the D-Pad. That other glitch I mentioned doesn't actually let you go back into the level AT ALL which is permanent until you backup your profile. The exact process of replicating this game breaking bug wasn't explained which I presume it was due to not leaking it for people to know about it and to make sure they wouldn't abuse it. Those are all I could think out of my head. I honestly think there's a huge list of unreleased, scrapped and hidden content throughout the early developer builds of both LBP3 on PS3 and PS4 which could be easily turned into a seperate video! There's so much to dig from - especially from tcrf.net since A LOT was discovered in LBP3 which is mentioned in that website. I suspect this is a good start to get a lot more about info for the next video!

About the matchbox: There is a similar case with the Tea Tin from LittleBigPlanet 3 discovered by me and a friend of mine. The Tea Tin doesn't have a back side, but the left and right sides has a paragraph of text on it that is much more readable than the matchbox. The text is mostly filler, but it was a bit humorous to read. Imagine how much more content still remains.

WOW, a lot of effort went into this comment! Great job! I definitely recall all those game-breaking glitches caused by update 1.5.1 (I think that's the right version). Thankfully, I managed to avoid most of the bugs, but I played several levels which were dedicated to just complaining about them, LOL. I think one of the other glitches caused a dysfunction in controllinators placed in Sackbots, which rendered a lot of cutscene-based users levels broken or outright unplayable...thanks a lot, Sony!

Seeing a game as old as this one re-appear in 2020 really puts a smile on my face. I myself have played Lbp from the earliest stages I can remember. I made it a challenge for myself to ace the whole game+story once I completed the main course. Still havent done it, rip. There was a theory that LBP3 was meant to be on the PS3. LBP3 was developed on the PS3 and at one point during the game's development, Sony contacted Sumo to port the game to the PS4 which resulted in both PS3 & PS4 versions of the game being glitchy.

Having a bizarre experience right now. I remember playing with somebody named GlitchMaster7 about 10 years ago, who sure enough, did find a crapton of unique glitches and secrets. I remember him creating a Sackboy spaceship resembling Star Trek's Enterprise back in LBP1, and he mentioned something about the developers potentially giving him a special reward for it. About LBP teacher edition... I remember in my elementary school either game devs or reps of came to my school to show us I think LBP2 and how game development was a cool job... Honestly I don't remember much but I think they did mention the Education Edition and how it was something your school could apply to get (my elementary was transitioning to become more high-tech with iPad 'labs' being a cutting-edge teaching tool), so it was something seriously considered and proposed but we never heard of it again after that. My guess was that school boards didn't understand how LBP could be educational and it didn't gain enough traction. The reps showed off LBP2 with those weird ball wands that functioned like Wii remotes (sorry IDK what they're called).

No other game is the same as LBP. It's depth in the creative aspect is the perfect cross between in-depth logic, and accessibility through easy-to-understand, hands-on tutorials. Logic was always my favorite part of any LBP game. Over time I started to learn how to incorporate logic into levels with cool aesthetics too. I wish more games were like that with the depth of logic that you could do in Little Bug Planet. Specifically LBP 3. That had the best logic out of all of them, I think.

the Pod specifically is attached to two strings at the top, which are attached to a long, invisible cuboid with no physics. The pod also has additional collision made out of another invisible invisible material that has physics, and that collision is used for the two fins jutting into the pod interior and the controller, along with a thin strip to make sure that Sackboy lands on the floor rather than switching layers onto the controller after spawning. Two more invisible walls outside of the pod to keep its swing under more control are present too. LBP2 made the two strings invisible, and LBP3 added two curtains to the side of the Pod

It simply imports images to stickers, which was then made to be normally uncollectable to prevent copyright infringements by the users themselves.

The freezertron would’ve also been an issue for users with controllers that didn’t register movement. If you have a wireless controller that needs a USB to connect to the PS3 you’re using, you probably know what I’m talking about. You aren’t able to look around or shake your hips when using these controllers, so if you got frozen with the freezertron while using one of these you’d have to use the return to checkpoint option in the popit. I don’t remember but I think this also applies to wired controllers.

If I remember the warning levels that were spammed back when it was first discovered, Spawn Pop Cancer was caused by a certain glitch in Create mode that caused your Sackboy to have strange, ridiculous movements. I can't remember how the glitch was done or when it became popular, but spawn pop cancer was a potential side effect and everyone was making levels warning you not to do the glitch even though that just caused more people to want to try it out.

what people forget is that there is a whole world of music artists that started out in LBP2, there is no mention of LBP2 music artists or music in general nowadays and i believe thats pretty unfortunate considering how talented these artists are and can be. Subtact is allegedly lil_morta_7 whom started out making LBP2 tracks, MastaBlastya is also another very talent artist, including B-A-P-H (meansr, who is on YT), and Genasidal (whom is also on YT making music too i suppose), along with nokbient (YT) and others. hell, music artists over at japan had a cool Japanese Music Collaboration event with artists like Taxok and Po-shin making tracks and collaborating. noone talks about that now and its really sad because there is a whole other world of possible lost songs and etc. this just makes us thank the creators of channels like LittleBigAudio or websites like LBP-HUB which archives numerous LBP2-3 songs made by various artists that'll probably never be heard from again.

About the LBPVita being a LBP2 port: more evidence to that is the fact that there is multiplayer create mode via a psn party glitch where you join someone via a party invite, it is very highly unstable, but its possible, and works just fine until it doesnt. But anyways, this video is a fantastic consumable time capsule for the future, and has had an ungodly amount of effort and collaberation put into it, nothing like ive ever seen in the LBP community before. Thank you for this, this game is also my favorite of all time, and i would be devastated if nobody loved it alongside me, Thanks Chunkinator, MysteriousCube, Aucratic, Cancerious, you, and of course more who shall not be mentioned. This revived my hopes that people still love and care for this game just as much as i do

A very crazy and questionable discovery I found because of this iceberg: I noticed that there are tons of entries on this iceberg that blazingvictini forgot to mention in the video, the one that really intrigued me was “terrible oni’s floating emitter” I decided to place a terrible oni in create mode on LBP3, and I did indeed see that terrible oni does have a floating emitter (the one terrible oni uses to shoot fireballs out of the mouth) and I got the brilliant newton-like idea to try and open the tweak menu of the emitter, and to my dismay, i saw that the image for the “choose object” option was a picture of a human man looking at the camera, I am upset that this wasn’t on the iceberg cause this made me super confused and concerned, I don’t know if this is a placeholder image or something, but it’s strange nonetheless, I guess this is something to submit to oddheader. (Edit: the strange image also exists on the tweak menu for the emitter on the last stand enemy)

Man, talk about a flash back to past, years of my childhood resurfaced watching this video! Good work! To “mildly” contribute to said iceberg to various things and oddities I remember whilst playing LBP: One of the creature eyes in LBP2 (I believe evil?) when enlarged would display a galaxy esc texture, maybe a mild implication that the negitivitron was some sorta space entity? IDK. Both LBP 1 and 2 had various in game objects (various stage set pieces like boots, boxes, and plants, etc.) that were doubled sided, which means that the possibility of either a reverse camera option was possibly suggested in game or that those assets could be flipped and rotated. Also LatinPlayer13, what was up w/ that dudes levels and why were they everywhere? Anyways, that’s my contributions, awesome video!
