Great review! I've stayed at Tropical and Colonial and was a little skeptical about staying at the adult's only due to excessive partying. But this looks amazing and I love the modern touch. I will definitely stay here the next time!

This resort is absolutely wonderful. The only downfall and I don't know if it has changed, but there is no buffet for dinner. You have to go the sister hotels or book a restaurant.

We heard there is some renovations or perhaps there was a convention or large group. We don't think this is a permeant thing.

I've stayed at Barcelo Maya before the Adults only hotel was up and running . Is the speciality Dining place not allowed for those staying at the other hotels in the property?

We believe all the restaurants here are only for people in this hotel. But if you stay here, you can visit the others.

There is laundry send out service that you can request. Like most all Inclusos, this is a service available albeit at a little expensive for the service.

Stay at the other sections of this same property. Barcelo Colonial, Tropical, etc. When you book you will possibly not have a choice as to which section you end up at. Palace is at the very north end and is amazing too but more pricey. The whole place is phenomenal for families.

What does the resort offer in regards to nightlife, I saw in their website that there is a night club

There are two nightclubs on the overall Barcelo property that includes the other hotels. You have access to this. One club is for younger people Ana one for adults. Check with the hotel if these are open due to Covid restrictions.

When we were there the beach was rougher surf and it has some seaweed, so we did not have good shots of the beach. It is lovely though when it is clear.
