A Look at the New York City Times Square Disney Store

I was in New York City over Memorial Day weekend, so of course I had to make a stop at the Disney Store in Times Square! The Times Square Disney Store is one of the few remaining Disney Stores in the country (and Disney better not ever close it!). They had merchandise from Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary, tons of exclusive New York City Disney merch, and then a lot of the merch that you can find on ShopDisney.

Great feature on the Disney Store TSQ! It really is lovely inside and a nice way to feel the Disney magic for those unable to go to the parks. I work a few subway stops away from there and don’t go super often, but I do feel lucky knowing it’s nearby. As a pin collector I do wish they had some more options available, their selection is very sparse to non-existent. Although they do have TSQ specific LE pins tied into a photo experience where your photo gets displayed on their billboard outside, which is kinda cool. Its usually for promoting new movies like Frozen 2, Onward, Toy Story 4, etc.

I just got back from Disneyland yesterday and finally got the time to watch this! This store looks amazing, the closest Disney store to me is in San Francisco but they don't really carry SF-specific items like the NY store so that's disappointing. A few years ago, they sold some really cool SF-themed pins that my mom was able to collect but they discontinued them for some reason :/ Tbh this store looks way cooler than World of Disney in Downtown Disney, although when I went yesterday before my flight home I managed to get my hands on some Hercules 25th Anniversary merch there lol thank you for another great video, Emily! :)

My closest store was the magnificent mile Disney store in Chicago and I’m so sad it’s gone! I can’t believe they didn’t keep it.
