I've been looking at the McLaren Artura, this is close-ish for about 1/3 of the price! You can't ever go wrong with a 911!

The only engine to get on the Emira is the 3.5L V6 Supercharged. You can't get the 4 pop with a stick. Automatic and lotus do not go together in the same sentence lol.

It's a matter of taste I guess... The V6 is great but I'm a huge fan of a turbo 4 pot! I guess it comes from my days owning Scoobies, 5GTTs and Evos!

I agree. The V6 ftw. Plus the reliability of supercharger on a Toyota engine is no where comparable to the turbochargerd AMG. Also costs less to maintain and repair

That rear end is a pleasant sight! The whole car is a thing of beauty. May need to spend less time with the wife when my Emira arrives, it’s looks are capable of inducing a state of arousal. At least the Emira won’t argue with me, instead it will reward me for the unconditional love that I give.

Just curious why you would say that the one to get would be the one with the automatic transmission. I thought Lotus were drivers cars you know driver's cars manual transmission they go together.

For me it's personal preference... What does the term driver's car really mean? Very subjective. I'm a big fan of a turbo 4 pot and it's newer tech, but the V6 is gonna be great too...

I despise the move to EVs....and saw where many manufacturers would not sign the declaration to be EV only production by 2040 at the COP26 conference. By then I probably won't care as much. I don't care what anyone says, an EV is not nearly as visceral nor engaging as a 3 pedal ICE car which is why I am fourth in line in my State to get an Emira.

Yep. It's a real struggle for a lot of petrolheads like myself, but no getting away from the fact it's happening. The only potential saviour is going to be a viable synthetic fuel... Hope you enjoy the Lotus!

Slow over priced. I mean get a baby blue base Corvette C8 black top with side skirt, use these same wheels and it’s not a 4CL it’s a V8 with 500 hp for same price. Or for the same price as this get the Z06 that will be hand clapping all of these cars including McLaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari More to come with the E-Ray, ZR1 and Zora This car is underpowered for the look.

I still think it represents pretty good value for money. Don't forget the one to go for will be the AMG I4 - I can already see these getting heavy tunes to get the most out of them. Have a watch of my latest video on my channel - I talk specifically about what a threat the new C8 is going to be - should be great, and it's coming to the UK - the Z06 might take a little longer to get here but should be ace!
