I’ve not used the Red Sea skimmers but you can’t go wrong with this one !! No messing around it just works straight out the box 📦

Nice Ian - I'm stoked with my Tunze 6040 pump and always liked their skimmers. I have a Great White skimmer which is really solid and super well priced. I am very happy with it. I love the sock in these - at first I thought - why does Tunze have this ugly sock? - then I realized it is great to run carbon with and even better if you run ozone (I have an ozonizer I haven't set up but I have a bag a carbon & resin mix from Brightwell in a bag at the outlet of the skimmer - in case I run ozone). If I ever need another skimmer in Europe (my brother brought the GW from Aus when he visited) - I think I will have to get one of these. Thanks for the great review and great to see you back ;)

What if we need to connect the skimmer with a CO2 scrubber? Will it block the anti-over-foaming function of that skimmer?
