Thank you , for me it was interesting to see older ammo boxes and the fact that you could purchase guns & ammo from Wards , Sears , Western Auto and Hardware Stores . I know my dad use to buy the military surplus rifles in cosmoline , clean them up & resell them for some profit , I wish now he had keep some of the ones he cleaned . @@milsurprifleguy7091 I live in a small town in VA. In 1974 there was a family owned furniture store that sold ammo, guns and hunting license. They even sold Colt AR 15s. (I was only 11 years old so I thought they were M 16s) The owner explained to me the difference between the 2. We truly live in a different world today.

My dad had quite a lot of ammo he had bought over the years , plus he reloaded . With his passing , my brother , sister & myself sorted by caliber the ammo then divided it depending on who had those caliber firearms . When I brought mine home I weighted it , it was 220 pounds , from .22 up to 30-06
