iI lived in Surrey for 7 years just 2 blocks from the homeless strip, and I never saw that much action EVERLOL I'm speechless - my condolences if you actually live there. If ever I feel the need for entertainment I can walk down to the store on the end of my street and sit for five minutes, something is constantly happening. It's either the homeless that live in the dried riverbed or drunk country hicks starting something stupid. Police come through there at least 20-25 times a day minimum

I come up to Chilliwack periodically (from Redmond, WA) as there is an RC Airplane flying club nearby, and on one of my visits, there was a fight in the Safeway, then on another visit, there were police officers taking down someone that was screaming and yelling the f word over and over again in the same Safeway. On another visit, the police were arresting 2 people at the A&W, and yet on another visit, a fight and broke out at a Tim Hortons, in which the police arrested the persons quickly. There is really no dull moments in Chilliwack, and it is surrounded by awesome rugged mountains and scenery.

My wife and I were stopped over west of Chilliacky, in Surrey one time back in August of 2013. Same sort of crazy and dangerous nonsense in the parking lot of a local motel. People in their 20's absolutely going nuts from 9pm to 3pm at night. I finally got out my camera to record some of it. It was scary, not much sleep that night. Not sure what is going on in that area, drugs?

@@RainAngel111 Well, I used to live in an old ungentrified rowhouse-type neighborhood in North Philadelphia between a high school and middle school (about 2 blocks away from each). The strangest thing I remember happening was people lining up to use the pay phone in front of the Korean convenience store on the corner. Oh, and the shoes on the overhead lines. But other than an occasional burglary, I didn't see or hear anything close to this sort of nutballery and certainly not on such a regular basis.
