I don't want to be rude, but she just doesn't have the flow which other girls have. Yes, she is amazing ballerina, but ballerinas are not trained to be in the girl groups. From watching the performances they had so far as a final line-up, Yifan always stands out in the awkward way. There are so many other opportunities which would fit her better in the industry, but girl group is not one of them.

People are being way too harsh on her. Yes, Xu Yiyang is amazing, has way more experience and definitely deserved to be in the girl group. But it is NOT Yifan's fault that she ended up being the 7th member instead. It is the fault of her company and whoever else decided to choose her. What's more, there were so many talented trainees that missed out on being in the group, it was such a shame that there were only 7 places in the end. The entertainment industry, whether it be in China, South Korea, USA or anywhere else is always unfair and brutal. Please stop taking your anger out on Yifan, she has worked hard and has dreams just like the other trainees. Since there is nothing we can do about the end result, it doesn't help to boycott the girl group and deny the other 6 girls the support they deserve. Just my opinion, she start her zero to dance (gg style) and sing here. I think she have a great improvement even ppl might say, shes not standard to gg. In phoenix stage, i think her voice more stable than summer breeze. Shes awkward and crybaby yes, but i think she did her best in every performance. Watching this video make me realise one more time how weak she is in terms of everything what a girl group need, except crying infront cameras. For every Yifan's fans again: stop saying she got more votes so she can debute. It's just ridiculous to say that because it's not true. And PART of it is also HER fault, not only Tencent and her company. Who can force her into that place if she not want to. First she should know she's lacking singing and proper dancing skills, second she should know she reaches the final because of her company and not her skills or personality or fanbase and last she should think about the image of the group later with her in it, simply said: it's destroyed now. I don't ask her to think about Yiyang's 8 years dream because she obviously just ignored it at the moment she accepts the 7th place Edit: Put all the talents, visual, improvement aside the show is about how much fans the trainees have and how many money they have. Basically the fanbase with most money win, it should be like that. Yiyang's fans raised 3+ millions yuans (more than 420 000$)and ranks 6th or 7th and Yifan's fans raised 860+ thousands and ranks 11th, so... Yifan can't never debute in that normal way. If any of you say the money of fans and money/agreements of the company are the same, no it's not. Fans spend money to see their favs achieve their dreams/goal and be happy and the fanbase will public the amount of money unlike money/agreements of company, that happen behind the closed curtains, it's about benefits for both sides, it's called CHEATING. The fans and the public in China won't be that angry if Yifan's fanbase raised more money than Yiyang's.

Yifan needs someone to help her learn how to blend into the rest of the group in performances. Luhan mentioned in the first episode that tall people have to stoop twice as low as a shorter person and referenced Tao for this. If anyone has watched EXO’s performances when they were still 12, you’ll notice that they all blend really well together despite having members of varying heights. Yifan’s height puts her at a disadvantage in this girl group so she needs to learn to match their height or else she’s going to keep sticking out like a sore thumb. Edit: A Kpop group that I've been getting into recently who is extremely synchronized even though they have shorter members and members who are like 6 ft is Astro. They're extremely underrated but amazing and really great performers. Y'all should check them out. But getting back on topic, with training Yifan can hopefully look more like she is part of a girl group.

That much isn't deniable, but it still wasn't enough to put her on equal footing with the other members of BBG303. She has every right to accept the opportunities given to her because she is a member of the competition, just like all 101 girls that were in the first episode.
