Some people would rather not be perceived by the CCs, as that can bring unwanted attention. Also, while the CCs are aware of shipping and do not seem to mind it, it could make them uncomfortable perceiving it themselves. It's kinda like how some vtubers allow NSFW work of themselves as long as they aren't forced to see it, they allow it, but they don't want to see it
