Truly we cannot gloss over that Pearl-Scott and Grian-Scar are both duos who have had really cool relationships in the Life Series multiple times (to the point the fandom LOVES pairing them) and are also both winner duos. And all of their wins have involved each other (Pearl basically gave up for Scar, Scar basically gave up for Grian, Scott DID give up for Pearl, etc.)
