I only seen 1 filipino movie of hers and I was surprised how talented she actually is on screen and her role of Taffy’s character suit her very well. I find him more attractive than leonardo di caprio. If he becomes steady and focused, I think he's a big star like leo and hollywood A lister. So it's up to the artist. He must remain strong and professional.

I'm so so happy for Liza, she got what she aimed for career wise and also in learning new things. She said she wanna learn directing and she met the right person she can share ideas, and experiences with. Because here in the Philippines she said, some directors and producers would call her immature and a little girl when she wanna get into directing which is very sad because these ppl don't view her as a creative person at all. Glad she met good people with her. You can really tell that Liza's really serious about this path, she's very attentive like the way she says “hmm” every after Zelda's sentences. It's very genuine

We are from Bacolod, and I have a sister who can't speak Tagalog very well. So Liza Soberano is correct in her assessment. Maybe there are Cebuanos who are quite good in Tagalog, my cousins from Dumaguete are not also proficient in Tagalog.

Majority of Cebuanos are more comfortable speaking in English as it's the medium of instruction in schools. One becomes more proficient in Tagalog when living in Manila for some time which I got to personally experience.

I’m Bisaya as well, and a lot of us could speak and write English better than Tagalog. Medium of instructions in schools down south of Luzon is in English. We speak Tagalog so we can have a ‘universal’ language due to the diverse language and dialects we speak .
