After getting a sneak peek at the A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Force 1 ‘W.Y.W.S.’ earlier this summer, the mega grail is finally here.
While the Atlanta-founded boutique has worked on several Air Force 1s in the past, this is its cleanest take yet. Decked out in beige ‘Sesame’ leather that's a touch more luxe than the materials found on regular AF1s, this sneaker is loaded with very cool details. For one, the classic perforations on the toebox have been rearranged to form three “A”s. The Nike logo that's usually embroidered on the heel has also been replaced with AMM's signature.
The inside of the trainer is lined with mauve terry cotton, and the sidewalls are amped up by two super shiny Swooshes. All of this then rests on top of a white rubber midsole. But while most Forces since the '80s have been stamped with “Air” along the back, this one's got A Ma Maniére branding instead. Why? Well, just so everyone knows that this ain't no ordinary collab.
A Ma Maniére has been an institution in the sneakerverse since 2014. Founded by designer James Whitner, the brand's French name translates to “in my way”-a nod to how the designer has always done things on his own terms. Alongside the ‘Sesame,’ the ‘While You Were Sleeping’ lineup also includes other hyped drops like the Air Jordan 4 (that launched a few months ago) as well as the label's first ever Air Max 95. And with this collection celebrating AMM's 10th anniversary, it's safe to say that it's a pretty big deal.

Suite au passage d’AMM, le design de Bruce Kilgore semble mettre à jour ses classiques à travers une nouvelle perspective. Tout d’abord, on observe une tige en cuir rose clair contrastée par un swoosh latéral gris. Toutefois, l’une des caractéristiques de cette création n’est autre que sa doublure matelassée arborant une multitude de lettres « A ». En parallèle, on note que l’emblématique logo « AIR » présent sur la semelle est remplacé par l’inscription « A MA MANIERE ».
