This was an unique adventure for you as a couple. The inside of the converted chapel was very interesting. That curving staircase was a masterpiece and the stained glass windows gave the place quite an atmosphere. I liked the evening meal you prepared for you and your husband and of course the morning pancakes. It seems like the weekend went by so quickly for you, but that it was so worthwhile as a nice retreat. I must say, you give such wonderful videos for us to enjoy. I really appreciate both your efforts. I think you have fun together doing these presentations. Thank you for everything.

Hello Kristen and Joerg, My name is Eileen and I live in Az USA. I am a very young 69 and have felt a strong connection to all things English for a very long time. May I “ dote” on you both for a moment? I recently found your channel and have fallen in love ❤with your content. Both of you are so very quietly elegant in manner and speech and this feels so warm and personable to me and my own spirit. Like good close friends that share special times in a deep way. I guess the introvert in me values such things. Not in the things of plenty…. but the special moments shared by the few. Quality over quantity feels right for me. Anywhoo… You both inspire me and I thank you for these special videos. I could see myself role playing in this Chapel like my own Mr. Darcy coming to pick me up for tea. I love the manners and formal speech of that day gone by. Ok… enough daydreaming. I will be watching and escaping with you to these fabulous places. AND binge watching to catch up. lol!!! With Much respect and joy for what you do. 🌹

Kirsten and Joerg, this converted English chapel is so quaint and lovely! I would not have any problem living there at all! Who needs mansions and 20 thousand rooms! LOL! As long as there is no mold, I'd live there in a second. If you check the many people who, more now than ever, live in Tiny Homes, you would understand that we really don't need the things that we clutter our homes with. Some people even live in RV's and renovated vans and they manage quite well. I just love the coziness of this cottage and I like the windows. Happy, Blessed Birthday, Kirsten and thank you and Joerg for yet another great video! Many happy returns, Kirsten!

The mismatched furnishings add to the charm, don't they? The taxi teapot, polkadot mugs, & chopped spout are quirky & also contribute to the charm. The place does remind me of an American family cabin that's been furnished here & there with useable cast-offs. Your tours of England mean so much to me, for though I'm a bit of an Anglophile & claim English & Scotch for half my ancestry, a visit to the UK is not to be. Such a beautiful place, with charming dwellings. The trees, especially the Fir, are gorgeous. It actually reminds me a lot of Indiana. The antebellum home where I lived until a few years ago was on an historic site with a chapel across the road in a County Park that is also a National Historic Landmark, Site of the Battle of Tippecanoe, 1811. The Snow flowers at your park remind me of the thousands of Spring Beauties which bloomed in the park in early Spring. I had them all over my yard as well, and called them "Indian Tears" for the Indians that were killed or removed from those lands.💗
