Emmie!!! Your way of taking things slow and one-by-one (even though you said you are currently reading a lot of different stuff but that's just us booklovers!) inspires me so much, because I have been so overwhelmed recently and I always forget to SLOW DOWN AND BE KIND TO MYSELF. Honestly, your vlogs are so wholesome and really help taking me back to the here-and-now while still giving me space to dream and just kinda float in this magical atmosphere you create - this has a whole new dimension to it! Anyway, thank you so much for your vlogs.

There is a really great anime adaptation of Anne of Green Gables (1979), I think the whole anime is available on youtube with English Subs. It was directed by Isao Takahata, who was a co-founder of Studio Ghibli and have directed several works from Ghibli.

You motivated me to read War and Peace and I'm now half way through! I never thought I would do that. All other books feel tiny now 😂. Also, I live just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland, and I think you would love it here!! I reccomend a book called The Bass Rock by Evie Wyld. It's set in a town that's at the foot of a volcanic plug called North Berwick Law, and looks out to another volcanic plug called the Bass Rock (which has a huge collany of gannets and looks like a giant turtle!). There's a hint of a ghost story but it's so much more than that. It's a brilliant book, so many levels to it. It's the only book I've ever sobbed at, parts of it were completely heartbreaking.
