This video touches my heart in a very deep personal way. I was adopted in 1962. My father had named me upon his favorite character in the reading of Ann of Green Gables. This gives me insight to who he was that he never expressed outwardly. He loved taking me back packing, but he never shared the depth of his love for nature. Today is my mum's birthday (now deceased), yet strangely all the memories that are surfacing are wrapped around the memories of my father. - Thank you for sharing this video. It is truly healing.

Beautiful video. I'm a HUGE fan of Anne of Green Gables, My great aunts gave me my first book way back in the early 1960's. I have my mum's Anne books from the 1930's as well. Oh man, now I really can't wait for spring!!! I have been a huge fan of Anne of Green Gables forever too. I have read all the Anne books (There are said to be like 7 in the series but I found another one that has her family in it and they speak even. . I don't know why it it isn't included). I grew up on the old series as a kid in the 1980s!! I have seen the new versions too. Just. . .such an inspiring person!! Thanks for putting all the quotes in here as you did. Beautiful video.

Oh thank you so so much!! 💛🌼 I am so sorry, but I don't realise which is that cardigan! Maybe it is the green dress from the beginning of the video or maybe a cardigan I used in another video... In any case, I found both in the same charity shop here in Munich, they are part of traditional clothing from the Alps, probably made 30-40 years ago :)

It is a German book! 😊 most of my “antique” books are German ones because I find them on the street or on the charity shop!

Yes! 80% of my furniture, decorations, pottery, books and props comes from the street. Mainly on Sperrmülltag 😊 I’ve carried chairs, shelves and huge bags on foot but now my apartment looks like a cozy cottage 🤎
