i'd like to know for a standard cat which plate would you put in the PENNY BLACK AND PENNY RED and PENNY BLUE. IE issued on the 6th May 1840. Would it be Plate 1 ? on both. Although i collect GREECE, NEW ZEALAND, CYPRUS, COOK ISLANDS, GREAT BRITAIN. Greetings from Greece.

Hi Roger, I would save my money and buy a 1d black on cover used during May 1840, if a single stamp it would have to be from plate 1a, first plate listed by SG.
