I don't know anything at all about racing and modification rules but doesn't it seem like the car in first Is unquestionably faster than all of the other cars? Like has a much faster motor?

All the cars and motors are very equal at this level, however the racer in front is Bruno Cohelo who is arguably the greatest RC racer on the planet right now. He is literally the Aryton Senna of RC. He not only races Touring Car but also off road 2wd and 4wf buggy. He races for Xray with the X4 which is a great car but all the manufacturers make great cars! At the 2022 Worlds (which he won) All the BEST racers in the world had best lap times of 17.4-17.5. Bruno was the ONLY racer in the A-Main with a 17.2 fast lap. He is simply untouchable right now. He won the 2018 Worlds, 2020 was cancelled, came back in 2022 to defend his title and won that. 2016 Worlds was won by Ronald Volker but was TQd by Bruno, and Bruno ALMOST won. The problem is Bruno is a win AT ALL COST racer. Many of his colleagues do not like him on the track because he is known to be aggressive and dirty. If he nips you and sends both of you into a shunt, the driver who caused the accident is supposed to wait for you and let you go first; every time Bruno has caused a crash, as soon as his car is put down on the track, he goes. He doesn't wait--which IMO is less than honorable. Many of the racers in this Main, while STILL fast, have been racing and winning Worlds since 2004. They are past their prime--still SUPER FAST and able to make the A Main at the Euros and Worlds but not quick enough to take the title from Bruno. Bruno BURST onto the scene in 2014 out if nowhere. He made the A-Main at the Worlds in California and nobody knew who he was. Since then he SHOT to the top and he still has a few years left on top. After about the age if 35, you start to slow down a little. You can still be VERY fast but you aren't going to be World champ anymore.
