in A major , the rest of the chord progression is Bm Cm D E Fm and g diminished ( which no one ever uses hahaha ) . So A major is the 1 chord , Bm and Cm are the 2 and 3 chord , D and E are the 4 and 5 chord and Fm is the 6 chord , hope that makes sense, also the way it is written , as in I ii , represents major and minor , so it would all look like this , I ii iii 4 5 vi
@SeattleJamTracks4 жыл бұрын
Bung! you’ve got it right except for one crucial thing: the key of A Major has three sharps, so the chords will actually be I = A major ii = B minor iii = C#minor IV = D major V = E major vi = F# minor vii = G# diminished You’ve got it, but you gotta make sure you make a major scale using WWHWWWH

Can i ask for some clarification as to what is rolling across the screen. Is the scale changing from B minor to A major back and forth?
@SeattleJamTracks2 жыл бұрын
Hi Damion - Roman numerals represent chords! Each of the 7 notes of a major scale can be made into a chord. The roman numerals represent each note of the scale, but as a chord. The A Major is the "I" chord because it's the chord based on the first note of the scale. The B minor is the "ii" chord because it's based on the 2nd note of the scale.

@vertyqaull6 ай бұрын
I know you probably won't read this since im two years late but the "I" means its the root (first chord in the scale). Its capitalized because its a major chord. And the "ii" means its the submediant (second chord in the scale). That one is _not_ capitalized because its a minor chord
