Hi Tom The large flock of birds you saw are Pink Footed Geese, where they spend the winter here, arriving from their breeding grounds in Spitsbergen, Iceland and Greenland. I'm a bird/wildlife photographer so you see large flocks of these geese at this time of year flying in large V formations. Keep up the great content, loving every minute of it 🤙
