Go watch and listen to Abbas live performance of Does your mother know/ Hole in your soul from Wembley 1979. There you will see all four (plus more) in action. It’s a brilliant performance. And here you can hear Benny sing in Hole in your soul.

Yet another great ABBA reaction from you guys!
@richardkeane68703 жыл бұрын
Great reaction. the two of you have such great enthusiasm for music. At some stage you should have a listen to the tile track from the Visitors album. it's the first album they moved from analog to digital recording. The sound of the album is different *although still classic abba. Great synth by Benny and lyrics by Bjorn - a haunting song written about post war eastern Europe and Russia - Frida's vocal is awesome and the chorus rips. Thanks for keeping us company from Melbourne Australia.

Here's a fun fact about ABBA. During their peak of their career, their stocks were worth more than Volvo. To get an interview with them was also difficult. In comparison it would be like getting an interview with the POPE or the president of north korea without the security. ABBA's singers, Agnetha, and Anni-frid before any concert they performed, always practiced vocal exercises using operatic rhythms, range and octaves. This was why both of them could sing with such harmony and perfectly pitched voices together. at one point before Agnetha joined the group she was a solo singer that held a top spot with one of her songs that even beat out John Lennon. So, putting them all together in a tight knit group such as ABBA which by the way is the letters to each of their first names Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-frid, makes them such a desirable fan favorite.

You two are so much fun to watch as you discover the glories of ABBA's musical treasure trove. Tyler's oohs and Marissa's head bobs keeping time are charming. Not sure you have the pronunciation down yet but no greater than Bjorn say ABBA with the first A as in fab. Agnetha is phonetically ON-YETTA. Really enjoying your discovery...searching for previous reaction videos from you. I'm an OG ABBA fan from the 70s.

Another new ABBA release just came out on Friday - "Just A Notion"! Originally produced in 1978 and supposed to have been released on the album Voulez-Vous, for some reason it was never released. If my information is correct, they took the original vocals and mixed it with updated instrumental and backing vocal tracks. Give it a listen, my friend.

No baggage attached - you come with them with fresh ears and it's great to see you get excited about the things I would get excited about, even though I am probably three decades older!! If you want to hear Benny in lead voice you have one option, he did it in only one song,and its called Suzy Hang Around,and yes,he did lead song really good too,just look Björn. All of the 4 ABBAS could do lead song very good,that helped them make the outstanding band of the world that they are..

If you want to listen to a lesser known ABBA song with the added benfit of Benny singing the lead, try Suzy Hangaround. It was meant as a song against bullying among school children but got misunderstood by some, so Benny cut it from their playlist - and never sang the lead again.
