As for the appoggiatura that a couple of people have expressed as a no no. As a singer I know that sometimes singing in the moment we feel that singing something in a particular way, seems just like it was meant to be that way. Naturally. I prefer to think that it is not incorrect, but that the composer forgot to put it in. hahahahahah. Fabulous voice and interpretation. It is YOUR song for the time you are singing it. Bravo!

GREAT reply! And it's true-sopranos and other singers throughout the centuries have added all kinds of embellishments to songs and arias. When singing certain composers, like Purcell, it's EXPECTED-practically obligatory-that you'll add half a dozen or more ornaments when singing the verse the second time around.

Yes, it is one of the better performances of the Lord's Prayer on KZbin! I stopped by to review the piece for a wedding and I was looking for a version with the piano accompaniment instead of organ. Beautiful, Mr. Mann and Ms. Biggs.

This is a deceptively hard song and you sing it well, Amanda; great breath support on those super long phrases. Your tone and vibrato are so consistent and even and I love the warmth you have.
