What a coincidence that this specific refrigerator was thrown clear. With nothing special about that exact fridge, its behaviour would be paralleled by myriad other objects. So either the fridge would not have been thrown clear of the city, or many fridges would have been thrown clear, along with countless other appliances and varied objects.
