Hello friends! I spent a whole year restoring a ruined stone house on the riverbank, and finally the first stage of work was completed. For me, this is a social experiment because this place is very much visited by people. Do you and I have a unique opportunity to observe what will happen next? Will people come and help with the construction or will they destroy this place?

Aren't you lucky that you found no one under that landslide? I am sure you are taking the collapse into consideration when redesigning the roof. I hope you do find some antiques! I have to mention that I was a bit disappointed that you did not dig that back wall out deeper to give yourself more room. But that could have caused another slide, so let it be.

Brilliant move to put it all together in one long video. As I sat here, watching intently, I realized that building a house beside a great river is a very wise thing to do ! Access, views, a special kind of privacy, beautiful sky views- both day and night, I could go on,yes, I love this place. Gostaria de saber o que é feito dessas casas, se pessoas podem morar, viver nelas por algum tempo, ou definitivamente. Eu vi algumas e amei, achei aconchegantes. Daria para uma pessoa viver bem, comprando colchão e roupas de cama. Parece um lugar de paz, com rio pertinho. Seria muito bom viver e encontrar vizinhos, sem prejudicar a floresta. Parabéns por cada casa construída. Aquela cabana pequena, eu acho que precisaria de uma cobertura acima da varandinha com escada e da mesa ao ar livre. Continue construindo, é um hobe mas também um aprendizado para quem assiste.

Why did you handle the roof debris twice. First you shoveled it all into the inside of the building then you shoveled it all outside of the building why not shovel it all from the roof down the ravine and save yourself some steps just curious you may have a good reason. Or it just doesn’t matter. Enjoy your work

What River is that, where boats that large can sail down it? Did you catch any fish from it? So glad to see the stove cemented in place, and a new pipe!
