Also I appreciate that you didn’t leave out the near misses and incidences because they happen to me all the time and I always wonder if it happens to anybody else lol I do have one question and that is once you put the concrete pylons down while the concrete boxes around them as well. Is it just extra support for the weight of the cabin?

This was the most intense log cabin build I have ever watched, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. I thought John was gonna die several times, but shear determination kept him going; axe to the shins, crushed by falling log, even death defying gravity stunts, kept my heart racing the whole way through. I leant so much watching this; how to use certain tools (or how not the use them) which positions is best stand when moving something that is so heavy it could crush you like an insect. Seriuosly thank you John, this was amazing to watch, I have no idea how you survived this, but you did! There is clearly some one watching over you, I even found myself praying for you several times while watching this! If you don't have religion ? Dude, I would urge you to submit and go to church, it would be folly to ignore Gods love for you! ... seriously this shit was wild folks, you can see Gods hand at work, watch to the end! Suspense and Devine intervention round every corner, just incredible!! Thank you John!

Greetings from Sunny, South Florida, Merry Christmas ! You are doing great Log work! My Grandfather, and his brothers were Log House builders in Finland, at Arctic Circle! They built more than 30 Schools and bigger buildings, that is why this interest me!! They did just a fine , great work, most of those buildings are still there, and straight, even they are more than 100 years old. Check Pohtimolampi Hotel = Bear Lodge Hotel, it was originally built by my Grandfather, and his brothers, Sauna building first, at 1952, then main building, which is larger Hotel now, 1954. I spend every summer couple nights in there, when I go to Finland, I have my own Summer Cabin at real Arctic Circle, at River Ounasjoki, near City of Rovaniemi. Keep it up, my friend, and Happy New Year too !! Eero from Lantana, Florida =)
