On the one hand, the recruits really get to see what they're doing NS for. East Coast Park, Sports Hub, Marina Bay - these are places you go to play and hang around in real life. On the other hand, you need to behave, watch your language and only pee in the porta potty. On Tekong, every tree is a lavatory.

they are having it much better now. east coast park? many years ago route-march would be in cemeteries, lim chu kang/choa chu kang areas, up and down hills, mud tracks, etc.

@jojolee69 Totally agree! When you go to unit, you'll miss your BMT days. Not only is it tougher, still got all those arrows, SK and those wayangs

Hi Kevin, every batch of recruits differs. Some may be mostly comprised of recruits of the same age group, others may not.
