It was the original blindfolded demo that sold me on the Blues Cube and I haven't looked back. I often forget it's a "solid state" amp. It feels dirty to even call it that. I will advocate for this amp. The blues cube warrior! $499 is nearly what I paid for my Blues Cube stage, used , off Craigslist. GRAB THIS DEAL UK VIEWERS!

Beginning jam had a Santana feel to it, and I loved it soooooo much! Really awesome and appropriate way I feel to showcase the potential of these amps, so I applaud ye for this!

Oh my God that is an amazing deal!!! I got my first Blues Cube Artist in 2015 at Andertons when I was shopping for an AC15. I have sold all my tube amps and now have 2 of these. They are amazing to gig with. For £499!!! I'm tempted to buy a third!

Lee! You give me so much inspiration to keep learning! Your playing has changed by leaps. Congratulations!! Can't leave you out to dry, Pete, amazing as always.
@lance1346795 жыл бұрын
I've had a Blues Cube Artist for a while, and it's become my favourite gigging amp. Having to my move my tube amps at the end of the night while they were still hot could potentially invite tube failure, so now I only use them when I can leave them overnight. That's where the Blues Cube Artist comes in - it sounds and feels good to me, whether I use it as a pedal platform or use the footswitch to access the drive channel, it responds a lot like a tube amp. And it's definitely loud enough. The only drawback I found was that when miking up the cabinet after EQ'ing to my taste, I needed to place the mic (an e906) out at the edge of the speaker, lest it be too bright at around 3kHz for the soundman. I mostly use a Strat on the bridge pickup, and they can be quite harsh at 3k.

Do you find yourself using dual tone often?
@lance1346794 жыл бұрын
@@TheEasybeat It seems like a great idea to blend both channels, but I haven't yet found a single part that I'd want to use dual tone.
@JohnsDough19184 жыл бұрын
@@TheEasybeat Dual tone is a great concept, but to sound good it requires one channel to be way lower than the other to complement it properly. That means you basically still end up with two usable channels, the louder one and dual tone.
@JohnsDough19184 жыл бұрын
@@TheEasybeat Personally, I only use it to turn it somewhat into a single-channel amp, for either a dirty-but-clean or a harder sound with some clean definition. Dual tone is oddly mid-focused and woofy compared to the two channels alone, so the EQ needs to be adjusted to accommodate that.

Fantastic price on a great amp and about as bulletproof as the old Peaveys made in Meridian Mississippi. I don't know how Roland/Boss do it. Blues Cube, original Cube, Bass Cube, Katana, Nextone, they are all great and extremely durable. Drop them off the loading dock and then play the gig.

Loving the tone on the Les Paul, sounds valve to me! The big test is to turn the guitar volume down to 2 or three and see if it turns fizzy or like its through a noise gate and just cuts off. That's what happens on the cheaper Cube amps. I saw the blindfold challenge and was doing the dishes and I thought that one was defiantly the winner without knowing it was a modelling amp at the time.

I have two of these amps.....one of the "Artist" and one of the "Hot". They are ruddy brilliant. I use mine clean, as pedal platforms, and they sound amazing. Don't be put off by the "lack" of valves. They really do behave pretty much as a true valve amp does. Don't think about it....just get one.

no idea if yall would see this. but please for the love of all things get joe bonamassa to come do a show with you guys. i'm sure he would. super cool guy. anyway, you gotta do an intro/teaser an episode before you feature him where danish pete does that set the guitar down when it's on loop and just walk away. then the lights fade and come back on and joe b pretending to be a janitor comes in vacuuming, sees the guitar hears the loop, looks around to make sure no one is watching, sits down and SHREDS. then he puts the guitar back down while it's on loop, and vacuums his way out of frame.. then the next episode you do would be an interview. maybe andy timmons. PLEASE although the ultimate would be tommy emmanuel doing it and then shredding on an electric guitar since he doesn't often do that on video.

Was gonna get the boss katana head as i need an upgrade from an older line 6 modelling amp. Reasoning for the head over the combo was just to use it for practice at home as I live in a flat so don’t need massive volume and meant I could just pick up a cab if I ever move again. Is this deal worth completely negating my previous thoughts or is the katana still the way to go? I play a very mixed style of music but mostly blues and rock. Thanks for any responses, just ask if anything sounds confusing as I’ve written this on my phone .
