Hi! I think I made a mistake buying a hs pcb for the f1v2 not sure whether to get a hiney and solder it or millmax it? Can you give me your thoughts sound wise for the f1v2 on solder vs millmax? I feel like hs was not giving me the full bassy sound I’m looking for.

While I understand there have been discussions that soldered pcbs sound different/better than millmaxing the same pcb I personally have not found that to be true. They are virtually indistinguishable to my ears and I feel like I am pretty sensitive to nuances in my builds' sounds.

how does this/the other f1s that you have compare with the w1-at in terms of sound and typing feel? thanks!

as I typically build F1s with plates (specifically the v1.1 that I feel this board shines with) the sound and feel are vastly different between the F1s and the W1. Personally the W1 is my daily driver permanently on my desk for its functionality and also the soft plateless typing feel. In terms of sound, I don't think anyone will be disappointed with either; it's mainly a preference if you prefer the plated or plateless kind of sound profile.

How is the TX AP stabs? Is the long stab (spacebar) still swing? If yes, any mod to fix it?

much improved with less swing. If you are using long pole switches, get the long pole version of the TX AP for best performance
