why 204g0? does 204g0 droop down over time like 203g0 or will it keep its shape like 205g0?
@studio20creationsАй бұрын
204 is a happy medium for me retaining a clacky sound profile while providing a smooth lubricated feel. I generally apply a super thin coat so never had issues of lube pooling over time. Hope this helps :)

@@JesusXina Yes to be honest I can't really tell them apart after application. I know some users claim slightly different sound profiles to tribosys lubes vs krytox but perhaps as I coat extremely thinly I don't find there to be a discernible difference.

If u balance the wires as I've explained in the vid, there is almost no need to relube after the initial session. You hear rattling because the wires are not straight.

Hi, I am thinking about buying a neo80 raw. Is it hard to manage the raw aluminum case? Any oxidation happened yet? I know it’s easier to get damage also
@studio20creations2 ай бұрын
It's next to impossible to keep pristine. Only if u are a fan of the industrial look of unfinshed metals. Hope this helps
@peopleperson247002 ай бұрын
@@studio20creations I see, I think I would appreciate how raw as metal it is. I don't mind getting minor damages to it and about the unclean finished look. I think that's the aesthetic of this choice. I was just worried what if it gets oxidized really quick that I can't even manage it. Thanks for your quick response.
@studio20creations2 ай бұрын
@peopleperson24700 what i do to minimise oxidation is simply not to touch the raw metal with bare hands. When i need to move the keyboard I'll use a microfiber towel to wrap it first and when not in use it's in its case. This way the finish is pretty much still similar to when I first had it sanded.

What PCB are you running on this build? I have a plateless F2 using the Hiney h87nu but it’s the CEM-3 version and it doesn’t sound as sharp and loud as your build. Also built with MX Blacks too. Is the difference in sound comes from the CEM-3 PCB or is it just a recording thing?
