I found the purpose of my life in rescuing animals. In my country Pakistan 🇵🇰 it is not considered a very smart work, rather a foolish line of work where you spend money instead of earning. I know it’s God’s calling for my life as I always have kept this in prayer, He heard my prayers for my sick cats and dogs, he provided for their surgeries and food, but right now I am in a big financial crisis, I know God will make a way, but I need prayers from my brothers and sisters in Jesus to please pray for this cause, pray that God opens a way to continue supporting the animal welfare work I am doing. I have a home based shelter for 23 cats, and I feed 30-35 stray dogs going all the way 12km outside my city ❤

Even though I’m ashamed and discouraged I will trust in God. Even though it’s difficult, I will continue to walk with faith not by sight. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus, and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I want to go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid all employees must have covid 19 vaccine. I get harassed constantly and mocked for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I want and I also want to bring awareness of how vaccine mandates are ruining many ppls lives. I’m now waitressing and I’m so thankful but not making nearly enough to get by. My husband passed away three years ago. I’m all alone. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic, they require a lot from me because they are non verbal. Every month is a struggle, to not end up on the streets. I’m tired of struggling putting food on the table it’s so discouraging. But even as I’m put down and mocked because of situation. I still have faith that our Heavenly Father will provide he has THIS FAR! Faith over fear. Please pray for me and my boys! God bless!

Remember that early in the day, before things get started, that Jesus tells us to go pray in a closet, because it is a quiet place; prayer is a dialogue. After we pray there should be some quiet time where we don't talk and just listen to what He has to say. He cares about us that much! (Jeremiah 33:33 and Matthew 6:6). Woah. If I saw this video last year this time, I probably would have felt very, very anxious. (I hope the grammar of this sentence is correct - I am italian) God worked in me this year all along, some times I let Him and some times not. But today I am here with a new heart, a new mind, a new desire: Him. Every year at the beginning of december I ask God to reveal what's gonna be the theme of the following year. 2022's theme has been: "Give Me this year of your life and will be the best year of your life" and 2022's word has been "Jesus". Well, I was excited to live the best year yet haha. Not what I thought wordly speaking, but it has been an intense, transformative spiritual year so yes, it has been a valuable year. I made so many mistakes, I left God some times, but God never abandoned me! 2023's theme is: "Live in constant communion WITH God, let God take you slowly through life. Don't make any decision, don't have goals or dreams, don't search for identity, love or purpose in people or circumstances. You'll know when it's God will for your life. Live the life that exists here and now". My sincere prayer at this point is "May Your Will be done".

This message is a reality check for me as my life is always full of envy, worries, and doubts about what this world holds for me. I do not want to feel left behind and incompetent financially so I always have this ambition to make it through my current financial struggles. I question God why he is not making me financially successful or at least stable unlike others around me who look like cash flow is just as easy as a snap of fingers. I hope that I will reach the realization that material things in this world are temporary and not eternal and that I should focus more on what is eternal. Even if I know this principle but most of the time, I cannot avoid to be my envious competent nature who just strives for material success because you are seeing other people having it.

You have a powerful message. If I may, I would like to offer a comment. You said, "if you found God, then what now?" Seeking God/finding God is a forever process, not a one time event. Seeking God IS our purpose in life. How do we seek God is then the critical question. We seek God by trying to obey His command to love our neighbor. The philosopher Martin Buber has said it best, I think when he wrote, "The true meaning of love one's neighbor is not that it is a command from God which we are to fulfill, but that through it and in it we meet God.” Our careers, our passions, our talents, our occupations, our recreations all fade into insignificance compared with the adventure of seeking our Creator.

That's why a prayer room is important. When we pray on our knees, we are supposed to pray and then stop talking so that we can hear from God, which is why Jesus tells us to pray in a quiet place. Dr Charles Stanley talks about it in The Believer's War Room. Prayed for you
