The key thing you said is Maresca can be better - I agree. He is a great manager but he can be better. My criticism is that he is too focused on style of play and not winning. When we are up - he is not directing players on how to protect the lead. He wants them to master a style of play. I get it - that is good in the long run. However, there will not be a long run if you don’t get some non-attractive wins. He needs to play for some wins.

Against Everton when we had 8 consecutive wins, he should have attacked a lot and not play so defensively. Against Fulham we had control but on second half players were looking tired and exhausted but made only one substitution. No in game management, no tactics. Finally, u coming to your senses bro. We have to stop being in denial and face reality. If a Manager doesn't trust the bench, you think those players gonna trust in his ways or even interested in playing for him in the long run?? Of course not, naturally they're not gonna perform for him. They looking to leave at the slightest opportunity, thats whats happening with Nkunku, Vega and etc. You can clearly see they're fed up with the manager. It starts with the Manager. At the end of the day, its the Manager whose putting out the players on the pitch, in their positions. But he's clearly using the wrong players in wrong positions. He's sticking to the same old formation time and again instead of switching it up, freshening things up. Its the Manager in charge of the training sessions, diet, fitness and tactical regimen. its the Manager whose in charge of the squad setup, in-game management, substitution, tweakings, adjustments, switchplay, finding alternative solutions to win games and etc. Its the Manager in charge of the man-management. Maresca is honestly failing in those aspects. Just look at the shambolic defence until now insisting in playing from the back with Sanchez, insisting on using sub-par players such as Disasi, Badiashile to marshall the defence, not bothered to use the real ballers such as Nkunku, Felix and etc wasting them on bench sitting them, using only 1 sub at the last few minutes near the end of the game to change games, at times using the wrong players as subs in critical moments of the game, zero urgency to win games, not thinking out of the box to find alternative solutions, using the same-old 1-dimensional way every time to play games, constantly giving stupid, ridiculuous excuses in press conferences. Maresca has to be on the chopping board. This is Chelsea, but man thinks he's at Leicester with no targets, no elite standards, no goals to accomplish. Listen to his replies in press conferences, the proof is in the pudding. There's a lot of BS coming from him, even the players are clearly starting to down tools on him.
