I cannot imagine what it must be like for each of those people. Never in my life have I ever thought I'd have a chance to go to space. Now, of course, I still don't. But these people do, and I can't help but think they all felt the same as I do. This is truly bringing the ability to go to space to the masses. Now, regular people can go. This is incredible. アポロ計画ではきっといろんな科学的な実験や調査をしていたと思うのだけだ、結局皆の記憶に残っているのは写真とか映像なんだよね。写真はハッセルブラッドの特殊仕様のものを使っており、写真を撮っていた宇宙飛行士も心得のある人だったので、よい写真がたくさん残されているわけだけど、個性的なプロの写真家やビデオグラファーがどのような画像や映像を残すのか、とても興味がある。

Mostly people that are already famous... Well I'm not surprised. Common people are perhaps not interesting enough for media purpose. I really hope it will be a successful journey and good luck to all the crew. 👍😊🚀

Usually, people who are *really* good at what they're doing tend to become famous. Take Tim Dodd. There are tons of space youtubers. He's the one who started really early, and did it well enough to become famous. People are not born famous (usually... Royalty doesn't count ;-)). There's lots of reporters talking about space. Who asked a smart question to Elon Musk, got an answer and turned that into an even smarter question? During that first interview (when they presented the first starship), you could see that Elon was at first wary ("yet another wannabe journalist"), then thawed when it turned out that Tim had scripted little and was able to follow his explanations. That in turn led to some really cool opportunities (guided tour of starbase anyone?)... If they're selecting really passionate and smart people, these traits tend to come out on top as well.

@@enpuli Tim is good at making compelling space content. Did you notice the questions they asked the candidates? Like, "What are you planning on the trip?", "How will the trip change your plans for the future?", etc. I'm paraphrasing here, but you get the gist. I don't remember if I heard about the questions here or on Tim's channel. An answer like "I'll enjoy the ride" will probably not cut it. Nor will "I'll dream about it for the rest of my life". SpaceX employees will probably have been excluded by the rules (similar to people working for the lottery can't play). Most of us would probably not get the time off from their employer, either...
