Sally, As someone who is now a certain age ,I had a metastatic grade 3 brain tumor, ten years ago,after the surgery to remove the tumor,I couldn’t even sign the get well cards I was receiving,didn’t want to leave my dark basement,(couldn’t deal with noise or sunlight) But this passed and with family and patients help I now play the guitar again as well as golf and play with grand kids,after the dark a whole new person came out, hang in there never give in and never quit!you never know when the next step,next painful exercise will be the one the change it all!

I was in my early teens when you first came to my attention (and no doubt many other teens and mens attention). Your looks and voice were outstanding and beautiful back then and im glad to see they still are today. I am so sorry to learn of Sally's brain hemorrhage but am pleased that she remains positive and is eager to perform again! May you make a speedy come back Sally. I was a child of 8yrs old back in 72 and loved Chirpy and Soley even though I hadn't a clue what they were about. I must take this opportunity to ask this and hope that Sally reads it and maybee has a laugh. Did you ever meet Brian Connolly from Sweet? Do you think he tried to look like a male version of you? It's fun to get reacquainted with music I loved back in the 70's, and the great singers. Just learned from this video the nature of Sally's really tough health battle, but oh so glad to hear she was getting better back when this was filmed in 2014. I am from Sweden. One of my most remarkable memories from my youth is when i first heard Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep. I was 16 and it was May 25, 1971. It impressed me very much. I never forgot it. But soon after i stopped following pop lists - but many years later i began to think more about it and began to look up later songs från Middle of the Road.
