A message from Spells Songs filmed at The Sage, Gateshead

Spell Songs were due to perform at this iconic venue in January 2022, but storm damage forced temporary closure on the night of the performance. With the musicians already on site before the venue was forced to shut, they found themselves with a stage but no technical team or audience, so created this message to share with all those who had been hoping to attend the gig, with a very special performance of Thrift from Spell Songs II: Let The Light In.
Spell Songs were thrilled to be able to rescheduled this performance, which finally went ahead on Thursday 16 June 2022.

How awful for you and all those who had tickets to come see you! I desperately wanted to come and see you all but it just wasn't possible to fly over for the weekend from Barcelona where I work at the moment...perhaps the silver lining is that, if the show is rescheduled, I may be able to make the next one! Love all the songs from both albums...but perhaps Thrift and Swallow are my favourites!
