I have an 18 year old kitty who throws up multiple times a day. It's just part of our normal lives at this point lol silly to get upset they can't help it. He has kidney disease so even with all the meds and prescription food he still barfs. We replaced all the carpet in our house with hardwood haha.

I have just lost my 16 year old cat last week😭 I can hardly explain the pain I have felt. I thought he would live a bit longer than 16. He was a healthy boy but we couldn’t reverse the kidney problems he had. They are our best friends so don’t leave them alone too often. Me too. And even better is being able to spoil her rotten since she's 17.5 yrs old. I didn't know or realize her sister was a huge bully because Chao had been reserved & detached for years. I just respected that that was who she was. Originally, I had 5 rescues. She never changed as they passed on until her sister did 2 years ago. Then, I started to see shifts in who she was. Into the second year I was getting/enjoying a cat I never knew I had! Now she's almost a velcro kitty and I love treating her like a queen for as long as I'm blessed to have her. Shes had 2 scary seizures but I was home to hold her and be there for her coming out of them. I love her so much. I just hope this time we have now makes her feel *as loved* as possible.

Heaven is when we realize everyone is, has and will always be with us. This is what it actually means to be born again. It's the Revelation of Jesus Christ St. John wrote about. It's the truth behind the curtain torn down at the crucifixion. Every major religion tells the same truth in different stories though most know it not even though it's not so difficult to find in the age of Google. I would suggest starting with the Upanishads because they are the most straight forward. Even so we can each know the place to begin seeking what's true. The Bible ends when we arrive at a New Earth and a New Heaven after the revelation of our misunderstanding what is true in this Earth. The Revelation of Jesus Christ to St John means exactly what it says it means as the revelation of our true nature hidden behind the veil of our apparent nature which is the face of God which Jacob saw in the land of Pineal which means face of God which is the place where all places things are imagined and appear to be. Imagine your beloved cat and she will appear in the same place as she did on Earth. 🙏

I hope my Crouton lives at least that long. He's near 15 now, and though he's very healthy, he really got thin this year for no reason I can see but age. They tend to do that a year or 2 before they go. I just keep praying for God to not take him this year. Had such a hard last 2 years w/ another huge loss, so need some time to be stronger.

I m actually away for the whole week but i get sad every time when i notice that my cats aren t with me. They do have my mom to care for them but still.. i know they love me immensely. And i feel really bad for not being there for them. Especially since i expect one to not make it to 2025. When i found out about "death" as a little kid i got told that this particular cat will stay with me till i m 21 and a grown adult, which felt really good and calming back then. I m over 19 now and the thought of it strikes deep fear into me. It s just not fair.

I totally agree, animals have feelings too. Notvto leave them alone for too long. Love your pets if they do wrong, they do not know, was not on purpose. Love them.

I am crying my heart out... This made me realise so many things ... My emotional attachment with my late cat is still so strong even after one year of her passing... 😭😭 Edit: Well I also wanted to say that.. Just 2 months after her passing.. A stray cat who looks the same like my late cat came to our house and it also stays in our house now ☺ it's also very clingy like my late cat ☺.

this hits close to me too :') my cat died just last week, i never realized how big she was in my life. getting up early having to feed her, avoiding her while she sits in inconvenient places, even just petting her whenever she was in front of me. i still miss her. i only wish i could've spent a little more time with her growing up before she left. at least now she'll be watching over me. i'll always miss you shabby. i love you :') ♥︎♥︎♥︎

Having to make the decision to take my baby to the vet for the last time was the most heartbreaking thing I've ever had to do. You walk in with a companion you've cared for over 10+ years, and you leave alone. I cried for days and was depressed for a couple weeks. She was young and mean when we got her, but I was the only one who believed she could show her true self with a bit of work. Over the course of a little over a year, I was able to show her she's loved and could trust me, and finally one day she started a routine of greeting me at the door every day. From then on, she was always affectionate towards me, but never towards the rest of the family as they gave up on her almost immediately. I'll never forget you, pretty girl
