They wrote this for a TV show on Netflix called Kengen Ashura so the lyrics may be pointed partly at the plot and leading character, while having a general message for all.

Band-Maid has always been Covid's worst enemy. They kept all of our spirits up during those dark years - in other words, the positive sound and lyrics are not a new thing with them. They are - and this is no exaggeration - the best hard rock band on earth. And it's not close.
@surfingasongwave Жыл бұрын
You are very entertaining. I enjoyed this. Kobato "Small Pigeon" Miku has a unique ability to imbue the lyrics of a song with deeper meaning. Covid changed one thing; it got people to re-examine how they are spending their lives. If you have a family, do you want to spend two hours in a car and nine hours in an office away from your kids, or would you rather set up your desk in the guest bedroom? Do you want to spend your days doing mundane tasks for a paycheck or raising chickens in your backyard? You get one shot so be what you want to be. Do it!

Yep, Japanese bands tend very much to spread positive vibes instead of negative ones. And even if they address negative topics with their lyrics, they try to emphasize the positive when things would change. I wouldn't necessarily see Covid as a trigger for that, because that was already the case before, but at least since that time I'm especially thankful for that kind of message/vibe, because some things certainly haven't changed for the better since then. 😏🤘🏻 _____________________ _"Sometimes we laugh because we're sad or to hide our frustration"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 I Wish I 」 🎶✨

I only saw it in that sense, probably because I wasn't too aware of these bands until Covid had already begun. But in addition to that, I've become more aware due to a spiritual awakening recently, so it's been a little clearer to me. I think it's something the world does need, tho. Japan is on point with the positivity in their messages, and a lot of people I see in my personal circles have grown ignorant, stupid, and negative. They need this the most lol

@@KreyzReactions Unfortunately, I also have similar experiences with the people around me and generally perceive it more and more. Unfortunately, this kind of music reaches only very, very few of those people. By now I'm just glad to have discovered it for myself, as it prevents me in a certain way from becoming one of them. I don't know if that makes sense, but music has always been an anchor for me, and in the last few years it is more than ever.

Band-Maid released a "Making of" video about "Shambles" and at the end each member of the band leaves with parting message. Saiki is last and she mentions that she hoped that everyone got the positivity of the song's message. The song was a 'work for hire', a commission for a theme song for the anime "Kengan Asura", which is about fighting and the song is themed about the plot of the anime. Miku Kobato writes most of Band-Maid's lyrics and she attempts to keep all her songs on a positive note. Even when she writes sad songs, they have a positive vibe. Miku admits that she is prone to depression and finds that writing positively helps her keep a positive attitude. When the band decided what kind of lyrics they wanted for the music that eventual became the song "Hate?", Miku deferred to Saiki when they thought the music sounded angry and hateful. But even Saiki's lyrics for "Hate?" have the positive vibe that Band-Maid is becoming famous for.

Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘Thx, Kreyz!

@@KreyzReactions Band Maid's lyrics are generally always positive. Muku Kabato (rhythm GTR) writes most of the lyrics. She's the one who actually had the dream of a band the vision of the look and started it. She drove them to be where they are now. She's the seemingly cute one but I think she has a will of iron. The best part of Band Maid is that they're all actually good friends and do things together.

Nice to meet you, hello~. The Shambles will be coming from now on. The conventional wisdom, power and materialistic society will end. This world will end. However, even if you cannot get on Noah's Ark, many people will be saved and many people will not. The boundary is positive or not, high spiritual vibrations or not. In ancient Japan, miko”巫女” was a priestess who sang and danced connecting space and earth, and these girls are doing that role. SU-METAL of BABYMETAL must know this because she has said, "I want to save at least the people who listen to our songs. Lovebites, Nemophila, and BAND-MAID are also coming down with pompous notes and lyrics, so I think they are being sent by the mechanism of the universe (God). There is Shambles to come. Once we get through that, the fifth world will begin. The third world ended with Noah's Ark, and the fourth world, sullied by vaccines, is ending now, and the fifth world will begin. (Hopi prophecy) Since it has not yet been decided who will be saved and who will not, these women will spread the positive. To turn metal music lovers who are sinking into negativity into positivity. I suddenly made a strange story. Sorry. But the fourth world will end soon. Humanity will not end, but some people will. Good luck to you! (I'm using a translator. I hope it translates well.)

Seems like you have a bad case of Pause Itice . have a Hunky Dory Day .

I've had a few other people let me know of that mistake in the comments. Fair mistake, seeing how most of the content I usually focus on is Metal. l appreciate that everyone is quick to correct me on my mistakes, nevertheless. I couldn't remember the video specifically as I was recording this video, but later looked it up as I was uploading, and I had reacted to their acoustic video for Catharsis. I'm not attempting to watch the video wholecloth. I am going to pause it, and will as many times as I need to in order to either explain what caught my eye or to make a joke or a reference of some kind. That's kind of what a reaction channel is about. It's about my reactions to it, and I'm a chatterbox lol but in return, I do submit a link to the video I'm reacting to in the description so you can watch it yourself without my commentary or pausing. I do appreciate you and others for taking the time to watch my videos, tho. Most have been very helpful with the growth of the channel, even a few who have critiqued me on volume levels and other things.

Sorry, but the ARE metal, and hard rock, punk, alternative, progressive, and a lot of other things and genres. Saying they're not metal is just belittling their skills as instrumentalists and composers. In fact you could say they are blues, jazz, funk, and you would still be right. Agree with the pause issue: we have here one of the best bass players around, not only in Japan, if you pause on her solo, then you have to rewind, period.
