I would prefer Wage War without clean vocals. I can bare them on the first two albums, but not on the third. They just destroy everything. The only bands where I like clean vocals in metal core are The Sorrow and Killswitch Engaged. Other than that, metal core should have been like Maroon (german band). Stay brutal is a good example or Vermin. Actually all their songs. And another great band is Heaven Shall Burn. If metal core would have stood this way😭 And yes I know, I am a whiny bitch. Still dislike clean vocals in metal core😅

Absolutely! I think the ONLY way to get the full experience of the song is to listen to both versions. The stripped version you fully understand get a feel for the sorrow and regret behind the lyrics, and with the original you get the sheer raw emotion behind it.

Saw these guys in January, and actually met them, bunch of awesome guys. When they played this song, the crowd was going nuts, after the line “rest in piece”, there was a huge wall of death! Best gig I’ve been too, and I’ve seen the likes of Slipknot, Amon Amarth and Rammstein

Wage war is one of my all time favorite bands! Saw them live twice here in Munich! Still, those two songs you reacted to are one of the few without the clean vocals that you love so much.
