السلام عليكم ! Even worse than people who do not read books and take what they know only from what they hear are the people who do read books and establish their religion on what they think they know and what they think they understand from their readings of those books. The Deen of Allah 'Azza Wa Jall is a living religion that has always been taught and learned directly from the hearts of the scholars to the students and never has this religion ever been learned through the unqualified thoughts of those minds who believe that they are qualified enough to understand the writings of the scholars without while believing that they have no need of the scholars themselves. Of course, the books are necessary however they are tools in the hands of the scholars and those who do not know must ask those who do know. Is it possible for someone who has never been to University of Medicine for them to pick up the Medical books and believe that reading those books makes them a qualified doctor, or worse yet, that by reading books of medicine they are know qualified to perform brain surgery ? Of course not ! The same is true regarding the works of the 'Ulama. In fact, we should not refer to the "WORKS" of the 'Ulama as "books" because they are not merely books. In fact, they are "WORKS" of science and sciences.

I feel so sad when I look at the Haram nowadays. The Ottomans knew how to respect & honour the most sacred place on Earth. the Wahhabis have come in & ruined it with their munafiqqat ways. Casinos, alcohol, music clubs & call girls are probably available near the Haram - Allah won't support them (Salafis, Wahhabis ikwaan, Muslim Brotherhood etc) on the Day of Judgement alhamdulillah.

It is a mystery to me and a strange thing that those of the so called "Salaafi" Minhaj continuously stir up Fitna and in every debate that they are involved in they have no choice but to quote the works of the great 'Ulama of Ahlus-Sunnah Wal Jama'at. In my humble opinion, the "Wahhabiya" is more of a political movement and less of a religious ideology. I say this because history tells us that the founders of this sect utilized religious slogans for political objectives. By calling Takfir on true believers they made lawful the blood of many thousands of Muslimeen and invaded the lands of Muslimeen right up and into the very Ka'abah itself. The world needs to know this history and how it's effects are still upon the Ummah up to this very day. After the World War the blessed lands of Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah have been handed over to these imposters and Riba has filled the coffers of these criminals. May Allah 'Azza Wa Jall purify all of our hearts and fill it with the Love of Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه و على آله وأصحابه وسلم تسليما كثيرا ) . How crazy it is that 6 years on from this lecture and things have got so much worse. This lecture in a sense was a warning of times to come The resorts mentioned 6 years ago by the Shiek now exist. Shopping centers and everything to distract us from our deen have increased 100 fold. The concerts now take place with hundreds of thousands attending. They are trying to turn Arabia into vegas

True said.... Where is the ijma of Ulema as congregating in one platform. So far I only hear from you. Imam sahib I think you need to bring about all under one platform and collectively make a list of things to do for short and long term. Achievements that Muslims and Ulema must collectively target to achieve. It is not enough to just lecture, even you are right still you must gather the jaiyad Ulema under one roof from all parts of Muslim lands. Otherwise your lecture will be taken as another lecture. So far it is failure of jaiyad Ulema in my view. Had they raised and got united at the right time we would not have seen the likes of Isis or other occupiers of Muslim lands. Resulting in massacre of humanity. You all know very well, what is coming. In the case of Isis you raised your voice only when Isis atrocities reached the peak. Prevention is better then cure. You must gather, and make the effort to bring all under the same platform now. Form an institute on the sole purpose to eliminate discrimination on humanity at large and to have a just society for all inhabitants of Earth. I have been hearing lectures for the past 22 years. Muslims and Ulema though right but are all asleep. They are happy with their lives as long as it does not impact them. Surely some individuals may be doing their part, I am talking about IJMA, collective voice. Jazzakallah khair anyways for the effort.
