A META SHIFT? | Hermann, Equipment, & Transition

The New Meta is incredibly impactful in Rise of Kingdoms in KvK 2, KvK 3, and Season of Conquest. Like in Call of Dragons, Age of Empires, and other Real Time Strategy titles, new upgrades are crucial for late game and high powered play. F2P, Low Spender, and Mid Spender should all have good access to the optimal and best builds.

I have been following your guides since starting the game. I have arrived in kvk3 with 1100 GH and YSG expertised and T5 Infantry unlocked. I chose to go for Nevsky5551/YSG and Scipio5551/LC5511 for this kvk. Finding use for Ysg is hard, given that a 5511 LC pairs so well with Scipio.

Great video. I feel the same about archers. I have a couple questions now. I run 3 cav marches and 1 inf and 1 archer marches. I use Guan Scipio. Is Liu Che worth replacing Guan with Scipio or just stand pat? Also herman is out, should I invest in herman to replace Boudica behind Zhuge? Also already have YSG. Thanks in advance

There’s a bunch of ways to stack march speed on archers but most of them you either sacrifice something else or it’s a big whale thing. Archer boots to tier 4-5 iconic gives 5% each, you can grab an extra 6% from versatility tree, armaments can give some, ottoman civ gives 5%, talented call of loyal gives 6.5%, vip 15 and 18 give 5% each

I went for cavs in kvk 3 (which im still in), cause i really like Nevsky as a commander. I have expertised ysg, and working on my Nevsky (currently 5211). I was wondering from this what should I transition to? I really like Scipi, so I was thinking maybe an Inf march would be great. What do you think should I do? Im a very low spender, total is below 20 euros.

What about ZL + Zeno or any other healer ? You can use archers and get all benefits from ZL skills + you have 10 ap reduction + very fast skill cycle with skill tree

Hello 12, hope you had a great Christmas. I have a question, I'm running Guan Scipio, Nevsky Joan, and Boudica ZL planning on running a 4th march. I have Alex expertise and I plan on maxing and running LC Alex or vice versa. I heard you say in one of your account reviews if I remember correctly that you would run Alex LC as a march. I was wondering if you have used that march at all, what results have you gotten from the march? We're the trades garbage, ok, or good? You're playing in an imperium kvk so I'm asking you since the results are pretty realistic from what players can expect. And I know what I can expect from running Alex LC or vice versa.

The reason Alex/LC or LC/Alex works is that LC expertise has a 25% chance to do an extra attack. Alex's second skill is an insta-proc of skill damage. When you have extra normal attacks, you much increase your chances of insta-proc'ing right when you get into battle. That damage front-loads your effectiveness, compounding like a snowball. You don't have to wait for a full skill to cycle to get that damage. For pairing order: If Alex is primary, you debuff the enemy (aoe debuff 3 enemies), and blast AOE with LC smite. If Alex is secondary, then though he won't debuff the enemy, he will boost the attack of LC. (ie if Alex does not hold a shield, he has total of 70% attack (ie Alex without shield has 70% attack bonus), and smite loves attack bonuses. LC and Alex also has excellent movement speed. On top of that, we all already have expertised Alex. All the stars have lined up for this combo for us older players who have benched Alex ealier. As to your Boud/ZL. That is a rough march. My LC now has more kills than ZL. Sad sad sad. I maxed ZL immediately and saw very poor return for invest. LC only just came out and has surpassed ZL in every way. Archers look good on paper. In the field, they lack any kind of combat effectiveness. As such, I benched that sad march and am running a beautiful five march: 1. Gaun/Scip 2. Alex/LC 3. Joan/Nev (I like Joan primary for the node hopping hasty departure) 4. Xy/Willaim (prefer over Huo. Xy is better in a five march. 5. Trajan/Epic Joan Since I already have xy, and I like what he does in a five march, I have not wanted Huo. I would have gained single target, but lost the xy's utility. Huo looks good on paper, and in reports, but in a five march, I don't care about single reports. Look at osiris league. They also favor xy by a long shot, even though they can get any commander they want. They don't want Huo nearly.

I am poker channel , & as ppls buy into the pseudo-hype of new shiny Archers, it is the perfect time to shift away from archers altogether. I benched the very sad, combat ineffective, Boud/ZL, and replaced them with Xy/William. Go Cavs! The pseudo-overhyped-meta is archer? Ha. Truth is Cavs love that shiat. Archers look strong on paper, but in the field, they are sad sad sad.. They will get ravaged like the sadfaces that we reveal them to be.

Herman def overhyped. if you don't pair with Tomy its gonna take around 3-4 skill cycles to trigger expertise depending on how lucky you get with the 4th skill. so it averages out to a 500-ish extra damage factor on your active skill. Not as OP as Joan. Also Herman lacks tankyness compared to Boudica or even Henry. only 20% defense and the 4th skill takes a long time to max out to 15 stacks unless everyone is running Herman prime. Not horrible but def not close to Zhugelian's power level.

I think that because Herman will be popular it will be easier to get procs since multiple Herman’s means more poison faster perhaps. Multiple Hermanns would def steroid the damage
