the real power of nevsky/joan lies in getting all the buffs and debuffs from trajan/ae/scip/boud. they can get buffed / target gets debuffed by ridiculous amounts. Same with guan, he isnt here to deal damage but to mess up the enemies skill cycle so the buffs/debuffs are out of sync with the heavy hitting marches.

I run alex sun tzu and saladin ysg for kvk2. Alex needs the tankiness from sun tzu, with ysg he does more damage but dies faster. In kvk 1 i ran sun tzu ysg and baibars osman.

I start rok two years ago, I will consider myself low to median spender. At that time, kvk2 only have one mge, it is impossible for me to get saladin. Getting Khan actually good investment for me, it give me good kp to stay on top alliance as pure cav. Going single troop type, it just make sense for eq crafting. I do 5551 khan on kvk2 and maxed khan until kvk5. Now, my khan has 15m kills and I not regret to max it. I will suggest get khan if you cant get saladin on MGE. Cav definitely not idea for f2p, prefer low to mid spender. You may not have crazy kp like inf main, but you will be killer on soc with good amount gold head saved.

But you want to get away as fast as possible before you your energy drops so being fast is good I guess when you're used to using the type of troops that you started with everything else just seems less exciting but it doesn't mean cavs aren't good for f2p just my opinion

That's what a kill chaser would say. Pre soc only notable cav march would be mina cc then falls off after kvk1 then Sala with ysg or other comms secondary.

I think that something really good about cav pre soc is that they are really cheap. Aethel is free and Saladin only costs 310 heads to max.

Baibars, Beli and Pelagius are better than Khan? 😂 they might be cheaper and Khan is a bad investment at this point, but they’re in no way “better” than Khan other than being free. you probably should have titled this video as “cavalry suck pre-SOC” cause they definitely don’t suck after that, which you yourself stated. F2P inf players always hating on cav, I get it 😅

I think every investment you make has to be compared to the opportunity cost of what you could have gotten instead People asking about Cav are generally Pre-SoC so I made a nice and inflammatory title for engagement and just disclaimed it in the beginning B)

you kidding? as a cav player, i would say i feel useless from kvk1-kvk3. Only from HA cav start to get good. Infantry is the strongest for Kvk1-3. Been playing this game >1000 days and have 3.5B kill points - most of which is from season of Conquest. Because as I said, cav is thrash from S1-S3.
