Appreciate the speed up on the setup. Want to get right to your tasting notes. Wish more KZbinrs did that.👍

Yeah. I want you guys to see me grab it and put it away just in case people think I'm cheating but it takes to long at normal speed. Haha

These are great to have around for the holidays. I thought they were a stretch at 100. Wont be buying anymore now with the price increase. Shame too, the bottle design is beautiful.

Holy crap $150?! Thanks for the review. Cheers!

Thanks for watching. According to Google. But what does this cost where y'all are at?

@@whiskycentral just checked a local store that doesn't up charge and it is now $150. I'm just shocked at bourbon prices.

Act 3 Scene 2 is the Midwinter Nights Dram I overpaid for, because it has the best period typography on the label! It also tastes very good, too - luckily...
@whiskycentral Жыл бұрын
Haha Yeah it's solid, just wish it was around $80 but I do love the label!

Buddy gave me a sample of some MWND and I totally dig it. A8s4 to be exact. Def like it better than regular High West. I don’t have a lot of experience with rye but 2023 seems to be my year with this so far tho!

Just bought a bottle of High West Double Rye for 45bucksish...it is soooo good. Crushed half the bottle in only 2 days.

act 3 when it was released was only about $60 bucks. also was a much different flavor profile than the current act 10 which is way overpriced IMO. I do enjoy these quick hitter tastings, keep it up.

The latest iteration of the MWSND in one store they were charging $249 plus Tax. No thanks. I’ll try making the poor man’s version of this that I found on Reddit.

As you we know, ethanol numbs the taste buds, so first sips are most intense.🥃

Really do love your approach to the reviews and your perception during them but get really annoyed at the number of cuts and edits which make it so massively disjointed. How about a review that flows with 90% less edits? That would be your expertise and opinion but natural? It's constructive comment, not negative. Hope you take it that way.. 😀
@whiskycentral Жыл бұрын
Hey Stevie, Yeah I can give it a try. after watching these videos 20+ times I feel like I am cutting out things I'm saying twice or things that are boring. I will try to give longer explainations that summarize my experience so there are less cuts. It's hard when I am flying blind :)
@steviestevie6868 Жыл бұрын
@@whiskycentral Hi. Thank you so much for your positive reply. Give the natural a chance. You totally have the knowledge, so a blind tasting will always have repetitive things - thats the nature of live stuff, but it would not detract from the review.. I think it would add emphasis where noted by you. And don't forget - I suggested 90% less edits... there's always that moment when you need to cut it - like when the fire alarm goes off.. lol or a complete blooper.. c'est La vie eh! I find your blind tasting approach really unique and refreshing. And let's be honest - our first try of a new dram is also "Blind". We only know the name, maybe some tasting notes but hey - it's basically blind for us and your approach is so easy to identify with. 👍
@whiskycentral Жыл бұрын
@@steviestevie6868 Yeah I feel like nowadays people like the shorter ones, but Idk. I can give a less edited approach a try :) No promises it will be any good, haha. Also could maybe try an extended cut for those who want to see it. I am not sure :)
